OMG Nicole just beat Conchita her nemesis!

I thought she'd put up a good fight like 6-4 7-5 but I never expected her to topple Conchita! Conchita has always owned Pratt! With Conchita up 6-4 3-1 its seemed like my thoughts were gonna be pretty close but Pratty stormed back to tack 5 of the next 6 games and the 2nd set 6-4. Final set was the same, Conchita yet again stretched out to a 3-1 lead before Pratty clawed her way back to take the match 4-6 6-4 6-4!

I remember their first meeting was a fiery one. There certainly is no love lost between the two. So happy for Nicole, this was a deserved victory for all her hard work!

In terms of ranking, Nicole has already moved up from 70 to 57 with her win over Conchita.

A win tomorrow over Schiavone will see her rank back in the top 50, possibly as high as 49!

Lets hope Nicole can get another win!

You've got to give it to Nicole, I doubt if 2 months ago any of us would have predicted we would have seen her in the 3rd round of any tournament.

Just have to say I am so pleased for her, and hope that she manages to win tomorrow. Go Nicole.

Incredibly determined and focussed when she finally got a chance to play.
