Her latest results are quite good in my opinion...
Is there someone who has a little more information
of her?!?
Is she top-100 material or not?!?

I've seen Evelyne play twice now, once in Hull in January and once in Brussels a couple of weeks back. IMO she has improved A LOT over the past months. Evelyne has a lot of power and she hits the ball really hard and she seems to have cut back on her number of unforced errors. I think she might be top 200 material if she starts playing more consistently.

More info can be found here (http://www.tennis-belge.be/joueurs/vanhyfte.php) if you understand some French.

Evelyne is a promising young Belgian player, currently # 456 in the world. She is the 8th ranked Belgian player and she's been going up the rankings over the past months. In January she was only 900-somthing and if she does well this week in Rebecq, she might break into the top 400, overtaking Elke Clijsters in the rankings.

A pic of her:

lol Sofie, it's a pity she didn't cut down on the unforced errors in the match we saw in Brussels! ;) She does hit the hell outta the ball though! ;)

She is a good player and she has potential, but I'm not sure if she'll get to top 100. I'd love if she did though! :D

In fact, I think she did :) In Brussels she was only hitting the ball out, while in Hull she was whacking the ball in the net a lot...

she is more promising than Elke for sure. Top 200 next year possible I would say go Evelyn (though she beats so many Austrian players) :)

If you take a look at her results, you'll see that since she won the double with Leslie in France, she's having excellent results. One tournament win, a quarter and a semi. More promising, she defeated three top 500 players (among who Mihalache who just defeated Maes a few days before).
Moreover, she's one of the few players who admit their opponent was better when they lost (she does'nt complain about the umpire, the wind, the balls, the blisters on her feet...)

She's great
She "stole my heart" when I saw her in Brussels ;)

I think she can reach the top-200 within the next 2 years!

Wait and see. Maybe it'll be tougher in the $25,000. Some players have many difficulties in those tournaments. I hope she'll go through it and, yes, top 200 end 2005 would be nice.

Well you never know, do you? Nobody expected Dominique Van Roost to reach the top-10 too ;)

Anyways, I didn't know Evelyne was that tall (1.80m)! No wonder she has so much power!

Well, I'll repeat what was said before, but Evelyne is someone really nice and it's nice to see her play.

I saw her in Antwerp: she played against Sofia Gubasci, who is now WTA 244 (but she was higher in February I think): Evelyne played so well i nthe first set (lost 7/6) !!!
So much power and a very good length in all her strokes! Then it was over (6/0 in the second), but it was the best Belgian I saw that day along with Gaelle Taton.

And a friend talked with Evelyne one day: she is indeed a very nice girl.
