Kim she can forget it!

What is it with Davenport? I don't get it! She has all that talent, and in the last 2 years has been in so many positions to break through and dominate the way she used to, and she doesn't get nervous, she gets down on herself and sulks and retreats into a shell. GOD! I just want to give her a push sometimes and say YOU CAN DO THIS!

Capriati def. Henin-Hardenne 6-4, 2-6, 7-5
Clijsters def. Venus Williams 0-6, 7-6 (5), 6-4

Report: Jennifer Capriati broke her streak of seventeen thousand consecutive three set losses notching a win over world number three Justine Henin-Hardenne. Despite droping serve twice in the second set, Capriati held on and broke Justine in the third to hold on to the match. Serena Williams was spotted in the crowd during this match fighting her sister Isha over a foot long hotdog. Those close to the family say that the world number one has let her figure go in her recent down time.

In the other semifinal, Kim Clijsters was stung by a bee (see, nerves) and lost seven consecutive games at the beginning of the match, including three service games. She came back strong to take the second set tiebreak from Venus who double faulted on set point down to give Kim the second. Kim showed her mental toughness and thighs of steel in the third exhibiting gorgeous splits and gazelle-like leaps.

What's next? A rematch of the 2001 French Open Final.

Hey, I can dream, can't I?

Agh, some of you people need to be brought back to reality.

Amanda Coetzer def. Venus Williams 1-6 6-0 6-0. (obviously)

Marissa Irvin def. Alexandra Stevenson 7-6(23) 6-7(101) 7-6(999)

(neither player could handle winning such a big match, so they took turns winning points, until Alex saw a blimp in the sky on match point and mistook it for a hotdog. She missed the return while drooling to death)

Isn't this what any rational and level-headed person would pick?

You're the only retard on this board. Amanda follows tennis quite well. Wasn't it just last year where Venus beat Davenport losing only 5 games? Oh yeah, that's right. Same amount of games lost, as in her prediction.

The fool speaks again.

I think the middle set at Wimbledon showed what she's capable of- Venus didn't play badly in that set- but that's the first time since her comeback from knee surgery that I've seen Davenport clock the ball like she used to. Let's not forget, she knows how to beat Venus...
