This isn't a hate thread or anything, just it's there are some songs I've heard too many times. :p
For example "In Da Club", it's not bad, but come on, it's been on MTV and radio stations for months.
"Aicha" has taken over German MTV, I'm sick of it already.
And there's "Sunrise" by Simply Red, that's actually a cool song, but I think it's haunting me. ;) I hear it in cafes here ALL the time. Must have heard it a billion times already. Please, it's been enough! :)

If I hear Jason Mraz's "The Remedy" one more time, I'm gonna scream

If I see Jewel's "intuition" on MTV one more time, I swear I'll pull an Elvis and shoot the damn thing...what the fuck was she thinking?

If I see/hear/smell/taste/touch anything close to that "Like A Pimp" song...UGH!

Oh yeah, if I hear that whore of a singer Xtina Haguleara one more time... I will get sick. That girl over does it on the HO RADAR!

Plus wait until the new Crap by Britney comes out.... It's just going to keep getting worse and worse until Teeny pop, is dead. There are enough pre-pubescent boys to buy this crap... they gotta grow balls soon and listen to real music. :p

I was done with it the first time I head it. And it wasn't that many years ago I was a big fan of both of them.

This year my shit-radio exposure is limited, thank god. "Bring me to life" by Evanescence probably is the closest thing to annoying this year. Honey, stay dead. No, actually it is nowhere near as annoying as "I'm with you" by the aforementioned Avril Lavigne. "Calling all angels" by Train also made me puke and pray to my angels repeatedly (that the song won't be played anymore). Anything by Our Lady Peace! Get a voice! Last year, not by choice, I was forced to listen to the following dreck (top 5):

1) Enrique Iglesias "Escape" :fiery: :fiery: :fiery:    God, I so wanted to escape! ;) I could not stand this rape on my ears! :bolt: :bolt: :bolt:  Enrique, you can maul Anna K all you want, but please leave me alone, OK?

2) Josh Groban and whatever he was sinning! ;) Sugar overdose!Yuck! :fiery: :tape: :bolt:

3) Celine Dion ("A new day has come") and also Celine Dion, "I'm alive". Oh boy! :fiery: :bolt: How I wished a new day would come when Celine isn't alive. ;) Well, at least not on that radiostation.

4) Avril Lavigne, "Complicated". Need I make this more complicated for you, girl? If you hadn't made it so goshdarned complicated, our lives would not be any more complicated than they had been before you came along! :fiery:

5) The absolutely horrid, horrid Vanessa Carlton song "A thousand miles". Get away Vanessa, preferrably further than a thousand miles away.

Special mention goes to Sheryl Crow : "Soak up the sun", "Bring on the rain" (whoever was singing it), Don Henley, Faith Hill, Cher, Michael Bolton, anyone else who I don't know or/and forgot! Oh, yeah, Remy Shand could "take a message" too... And Nickelback, how could I forget them? :o

you might not know it, but there's this song "chihuahua" by dj bobo. he's what you might call the shame of switzerland. i thought that his success was confined (sp?) to switzerland. but then i was on holiday in italy, and the song was EVERWHERE! :fiery: in bars, at the beach, little children singing it in the streets, mobile phones etc. etc. i was very close to going berserk... :banghead:
i wish you all that you'll never have to endure this atrocity.

They were playing that song all the time while I was on holiday in Tunisia, "Chihuahua Here, Chihuahua There.....Wanna make you move, Chihuahua, come and feel the groove, Chihuahua, wanna sing & dance, Chihuahua. Ohhhh, chihuahua"   I can still remember it!

The songs that really annoy me are;
R Kelly: Ignition (Everywhere you go, you hear it, so annoying)
Evanescense: Bring me to Life  (WHY?)
Anything by 50 Cent  & Eminem (I hate Crap Rap stuff)

Hmm, I'm not mboyle, but sometimes it's very hard to stay objective when something is overhyped to the millionth degree. Take Radiohead, for example.

i always give every song one listen, otherwise i feel like im selling my self short by instantly assuming i wont like the song. esp since the quality of a song isnt always about the singer, but about the producer.

The song coming to my mind is 'If You Had My Love' by Jennifer Lopez, i think i heard it a gazillion times a few years back.

Now it would have to be 'Crazy In Love' by Beyonce, ugh.
