View Full Version : Make threads read by default?

Jul 29th, 2003, 11:21 PM
If I remember well, there was a tool to enable/disable this (mark all threads read when log out).
I had it disable, so when I entered again I could see where are the new posts because there is the yellow arrow at the left.

But now I can`t find this tool, and every time I enter it seems all the threads were readed by me because there is not yellow arrow, but if I spend some minutes in the forume, updates threads shows me itīs arrow.

So I think it is "make all threads read when log out" by default, and I donīt like it. :retard:

I can't find this option you're describing anywhere in the user cp so if it was in an older release of the software they may have got rid of it with the latest version. But if you had it disabled anyway it shouldn't make a difference.

I'll leave this one to amanda she might have an answer for you.

I have access to another site running the old software and cannot find the option you described.

With this version of the software you can mark all threads read by: hovering over those grey (temporary) buttons with the yellow arrow at the top. It should be the third button along "Mark all forums read". Click it and then logout afterwards and you should be set.
