Alain Coumont is the founder and owner of a chain of bakeries named "Le Pain Quotidien". He started in Brussels (Belgium) some 10 years ago, sold the company some time later, bought it back recently, and now also owns bakery-cafes in New York and Los Angeles.

Never heard of "Brunette"-praliné-spread, though... :)

I don't know "brunette" but if it's from "le pain quotidien" you can be sure it will be good.....but probably not as good as the "cote d'or" equivalent :)
