I gave up smoking except for when I'm at a bar or drinking. :)
About 2 years ago, I gave up biting my nails... And haven't slipped up once and done it.
As for the habit I'd like to break now, well I can't really think of one. :o

Poe good luck on quitting the soda's, I noticed both you mentioned have loads of caffeine. Because of that unless you drink coffee you might end up with a caffeine withdrawl, which is usually a really painful headache. Perhaps quitting all at once isn't a good thing, limit yourself to 2 a day, then 1, and finally half then quit. Otherwise you'll get bad headaches. I should know, I've been there done that. I still enjoy a soda at dinner or when I'm out eating... but no where near like I used to. Good luck! :wavey:

thanks for the info :) I did have a headache by late afternoon today i guess that's why... I took some excedrin and those are loaded with caffeine which would explain why they worked so fast :D

i plan to still have one once in a while but i usually like to kick habits cold turkey so i'll try to go at least a week without one first ;)

as for nail biting, that's something my boyfriend needs to work on :D

I think I have kicked most of my bad habits apart from:
1. TV
2. WTAWorld
3. going to bed late and getting up late.

TV I am going to make a serious effort to quit. I am going to restrict myself to one or two shows a week that I am allowed to watch, plus a certain amount of hours "overtime". Films don't count, otherwise I'd be screwed :)

If I like the results, I might think about limiting my internet time as well... start thinking about having a real life or something (sounds a bit drastic though)...

i used to bite my nails, from ages 5-18, but then i suddenly stopped. i have nice, decent nails, not too long, not too short. i keep them polished. its much cheaper and classier than having those awful fake acrylics. ick.

bad habits...
-i have a bit of an attitude :)
-i dont think before i speak. constant foot in the mouth disease
-im lazy thou ive been working on that real hard lately.
-i pay close attention to details and am anal about organization. too bad i cant seem to apply this to my room which is an absolute mess

Ohh that pesky thing called "organization". I don't have any of it.

Going to bed on time. Not coming home from work and trying to get my Internet and TV time in.

Ohh paying my bills on time! :o I hate to write checks. :( I have the money but if I can't pay it online its going to be late.

lol. my attitude is a bit worse in real life too :) i dont allow myself to be walked all over, esp by men, i take no bullshit from the boys. im real sarcastic but people dont really catch that on here, so i try to stay away from it.

acrylics look alright on some people. not me thou. i got lil baby hands and they just look too much. only had them done twice in my life, and both times they looked too thick for my hands, they just overpower me and i dont like em. plus, i cant function with them.

I took off the acrylic and now my nails are like paper. I'm trying to grow them back and then decide if it's worth going down the acrylic path again.

My bad habit is laziness.

It's not that difficult to cut out McDonalds, apoet. :) Trust me...I haven't been to one in weeks.

I would, however, like to stop spending too much money on things I don't need...or can't afford :p
