Who will play better on clay this season?

I voted for Conchita.

Arantxa & Conchita always have good clay season, lets hope the same this year.

I think Angeles Cristina Gala & Marta have chances to make good results.

Mariajo and Nuria will have to play lot of qualys.... what a pity!

with Magui you never know and Vivi seems to be more conentrated in her doubles career than in singles so...

Maybe we will get some surpises from Eva, as she will play lot of tournaments for the first time as a good ranked player she is now :)

Maybe Maria Antonia makes a super come back :drool: who knows? Lets wish it

And finally maybe we could se players like Ainhoa or Conchita M-G or why not Lourdes and company making the "step" as Eva did last year.

Anyway it will be an interesting clay court season :)

Of course, Conchi Martinez but I'm expecting Marta wining 2 tournaments, Arantxa as well, Medina 1 at least, and a Spanish surprise whose name is Marta Fraga.....
By the way why not all Spanish in clay season finals????:hearts:

I think we´ll see Arantxa play even more Tier iii/iv tournaments than last year in an attempt to win back some ranking points. She´s entered Mexico city, plus has to defend at least Portugal and Madrid.

ok; I'm off work with a broken hand and VERY bored, so thought I'd dig up some old predictions and see how it worked out.

I meant its a surprise considering only 3 of the 30 who responded to the poll reckoned Magüi would be best.

spicey: um...an "accident" ;) broke my little finger in 2 places and dislocated the knuckle. They had to operate and put pins in :mad:

I cant play tennis for 4-5 months :(
