Not too unexpected considering her poor form plus all the new things happening in the LTA!

For anyone who doesn't visit gbtennisgirls:
Julie is retiring from touring but not from British Tennis. She is to run a 'Satellite Squad' based in Brighton, presumably of locally based junior girls as this is mentioned as a gbtennisgirls initiative (as opposed to an LTA idea??).

Not very pleased about this. I am one of the few Julie fans on the board and am very sorry to see her go.

Okay, so she's not totally out of tennis, but she is off the tour. Won't be seeing her outside of Great Britain now.

Goodbye Julie

Still sad.

Goodbye Julie

The British women's game is going to take quite a hit with both Julie and Lucie retiring this year.

Really missing Julie

Hard to believe its been about a year since she's been gone.

The british girls are having a great Wimbledon this year. Wish she could have been there too and finally get that Wimbledon win.
