Regla Torres mobbed by fans in Sacramento, California

Tennis star Regla Torres, who has recently announced her plans to return to competitive tennis will play her first match, a doubles match, in the Fed Cup tie between USA and Spain. She will be competing in the doubles match by being paired with her good friend Anabel Conde-Martinez. As she arrived in Sacramento she was mobbed by fans wanting to get autographs and photographs of the star. So much so that she had to travel incognito and with dark shades. She said she's looking forward to her first match and said she was determined to win for her country.

Hong Kong junior speak up on biasness in Hong Kong team
Jane Wong due to arrive to Bulgaria on Wednesday as she is with ruflina at the moment consoling her about her tragic loss

Joana Chan meanwhile complain about captian obvious biase over Jane

'It is ridiculous that Jane can get exempt from training these three days, just becuase she is Hong Kong no. 1 and world top 10 doesn't mean that everyone has to kneel on their knees and worhip her and let her do everything'

the 16 year old however is fired up for the Fed Cup.

'Just becuase Jane wong cannot be arsed about Fed Cup does not mean that I will not try my best, I will give it my all and hope to see Hong Kong in world group.'

MONICA READY FOR THE CHALLENEGE

Monica Gambill is ready for the challenge taking on Canada in the FED cup.It will be a tough challange as Canada have 3 players ranked higher than Gambill.
'It will be tough ranking wise and the fact that Anjelica is one heck of a clay courter. But i have beaten her this year and i've beaten Eva the last 2 times we played.I'm yet to play Caroline but i'm excited by the prospect. The british team is even more together this time we all get on so well now and its good to see Rosie on the team'

it's funny, belgium is seeded 2 but has the weakest team playing. canada is unseeded but probably has one of the strongest.

CUBA hopes to reach the World Group next year

Gisele Noventz and Yadira Mendivil aren't here for fun. They have a tough meeting against Mexico. Both players came in first on their qualifying group, and they hope to do the same job against the dangerous Mexican team.

"We know the pressure we're getting playing at home, but we're definitely not going down without a good fight, cause we have the game to defeat anyone, and we're up to bring it this week. said Noventz

"I'm ready. I'm a little bit nervous, but I'm ready. says Mendivil who's playing her 1st FED Cup ever.

Tiffani has a terrible Fed Cup record. She hurts the team more than she helps. It's a compliment Caroline.

Amanda Kolbovic Arrives at Fed Cup Tie for Afrika

Bali, Indonesia--- Unhailed Afrikan starlet Amanda Kolbovic arrived in the very pedestrian village of Bali today, intent on defeating the Indonesian Fed Cup team with partner Liezel Coetzer.

Instead of hitting the practise courts though, Kolbovic found herself doing photo shoots, showing off her sizzling body. Kolbovic has yet to show one impressive result on the FWTT your since joining, and has been made to qualify for ITF events due to her poor results. When asked by reporters how it felt to be playing in the "minor leagues", Kolbovic responded.

"It really doesn't bother me. I haven't been focusing on my tennis at all, because if I did I'd crush these dowdy whores playing blindfolded with a baseball bat. I've been much too busy with my social life to think about playing tennis. But I've decided to help out my continent here, and win matches. Because god knows no one else from Afrika has done anything good recently. I guess once I start to play and focus properly I'll soar up the rankings. There's no better place to start then here, where I can have easy matches against these pathetic Asians."

Kolbovic declined to comment on where her team mate Liezel Coetzer was, saying she "couldn't care less".
