Caroline will play for Canada. I don't know what matches yet, as that will probably depend on the surface we play on, and I need to discuss that with Eva.

Well, first tell me if you want to play lol. If not I'd choose Candela Sanchez Vicario if the tie is on hard or Sandy Vicario if it's on grass.
I´ll make a summary of each player's season and find out who are the most suitable players.

Ok, The Spanish Team...
------------------------
Adriana González will play as the #1 of the team
Anabel Conde-Martínez will play as the #2 of the team
Anabel Conde-Martínez and Regla Torres will play doubles.
Carmen Prado would replace Anabel Conde-Martínez in the doubles if the rubber is decided.
The reasons I pick each player:
------------------------------
Adriana González: She's been the best Spanish player this year, with very good results on every surface reaching at least a semi on each surface. She's also the only top ten player that Spain has got right now, so she will play as the first player of the team.
Anabel Conde-Martínez: I picked her over Regla, because the results are very similar. They've got their best results this season on clay, with some decent wins on hard (some third rounds and quarters). The fact that impulsed my decision is just the ranking. Anabel is higher-ranked than Regla, so I think that Anabel is the most suitable player.
Conde/Torres: Anabel has won two tournaments this year. Torres won Miami. Adriana also won two tournaments. Adriana wasn't gonna play, because yes, she won two tournaments and reach another two finals (one of them in a challenger), but she lost every other doubles match but one. The fact that made me doubt was that Anabel and Prado had won a tournament together, so they would get along very well, but Prado has got no experience, and I think it would be a risk to make her play if it's a decisive point. Regla is much more experienced, so the doubles team will be Conde and Torres. But if the rubber is decided Prado would take Conde's spot.
Good luck Spanish team!
