Jan 27th, 2002, 03:27 AM
Its crazy, she was so talented, why is Darius still there, I think I might start a campaign to get him voted out!!!

Will is the only talented one left, so I'll have to pin all my hopes on him!!!

Jan 27th, 2002, 03:31 AM
This is a tragendy she was the most talented one there.I was shoked Darius didn't go!But hey life goes on!If Darius or Gareth win i hope they fail!I want will to win now but i'm not too enthusiastic about him!

this is the last time that i ever will think about pop idol.
Zoe has gone, what can i say?
we all no she was the best and she went out.
All im gonna say is that itv, pete waterman and all those other judges and everyone involved has failed in the mission to find a pop idol. The 3 left are not pop idols.
I just hope that all the people find that in a few months time there will be better looking, more talented people than will, darius and gareth around and where will they be left?

Best of luck to my girl Zoe though. She was too GOOD for pop idol. You go my girl.

Zoe is my fav and she is the most talented and pleasant out of other 3. But let's face it, she will go eventually, the chance is that the other three already have their legions of fans calling every week, to make sure they stay. The other three looks like one of those boy bands member, and it is outrageous, from start to finish it is for Gareth to win or lose, and I don't think it will change, I dun understand what good about him

Jan 27th, 2002, 04:10 AM
yeah, you are right. I mean he can sing, but so can everyone else. Hayley sang better than him, Zoe did even Rosie could but i think its the old 'oh my god he is so sexy kinda edge to it. Sexy people are the best singers in the whole world'.

Jan 27th, 2002, 04:13 AM
its a travesty Zoe is the most talented with a wonderful voice and she is such a cutie, why is darius still there?

Jan 27th, 2002, 04:18 AM
No I like Will, he has talented and his voice is so unique and funky, its wierd there's 3 guys left, cos at the start u would ahve thought the girls were more talented, never underestimate the power of teenage girls!!!!lol

Jan 27th, 2002, 04:44 AM

everyone get the idea?

Jan 27th, 2002, 04:49 AM
so which one do you like best Kisha?

Jan 27th, 2002, 04:51 AM
Kisha, I don't understand... who's the best P.I.?

Jan 27th, 2002, 04:54 AM
Hehe, when it goes to voting, I am sure the votes are more likely to be 70% female and 30% male, or even more, so I am not surprised that Hayley, Zoe and Rosie get booted so quickly

Jan 27th, 2002, 04:55 AM
Rightous - i think you hit the nail right on the head with oyur teenage girl comment - the show should be called teen idol :p :p

Oh well here today, gone tomorrow - thats all we can hope for, for the three non pop idols left :o

guess who my avatar is! lol!

They have got it all wrong. For a start.....

Will and Gareth's voice styles are restricted. They are very much typical "boy band" styles. They haven't got much range vocally. Zoe was harshly criticised tonight. Okay, fair enough the songs she did required exceptional vocal strength, but as for the others, their songs were relatively easy in comparison.

As for Darius, I can't really form much of an opinion on him, to me he seems the best of a bunch that shouldn't be there.

But tonight the true winner lost out. She had it all, her mannerisms and expressions whilst singing are excellent, she's a natural. She may not win Pop-Idol, but I doubt very much she will fade into the darkness, we'll see her again sometime.

And she has such a vibrant personality too, she shows maturity well beyond her age and has the looks aswell... why oh why oh why didn't she go through?

Love the avatar Kisha!

'Pop Idol' is a ridiculous programme, especially because it's so obvious that whoever wins will have maybe one or two hits, then be forgotten about. Like Hear'Say. In a way, I'm pleased that Zoe lost - you're right, she was the only one with ANY talent/charisma/personality whatsoever - and I hope that she goes back to school, gets her education, lives a little and comes back in 5 years time, when whichever twat who does win will be long forgotten, and either starts writing her own stuff or gets decent material. She has a great voice - sure, the ones who are left can hold the notes, but they're so unbelievably bland and boring, like 99% of pop these days - she sings with emotion, style and verve. Frankly, she was always too good for this tacky crap which masquerades as entertainment.

Jan 28th, 2002, 12:18 AM
i agree with everything there! that is true! GO ZOE!

Jan 28th, 2002, 12:21 AM
Zoe has immense potential. She could be the great hope of British soul. But she's too young for the 'business' right now - in the UK, young singers tend to end up washed-out wrecks (Billie Piper). If she gets a record deal now, which she may well do, she'll be given crap songs and will have a limited shelf-life, as the record company will only be interested in short-term financial profit. She needs to continue having singing lessons and stuff, but also just to get on with her life so she has stuff to sing about. Go Zoe!

Jan 28th, 2002, 12:25 AM
yeah you are right 16 is nothing! lol! she should wait until she gets to my age! lol! (that feels like 120!)

Jan 28th, 2002, 12:27 AM
kisha, I don't believe you're 120 at all - too sweet for that!

Jan 28th, 2002, 12:29 AM

Jan 28th, 2002, 12:30 AM
::tries to do maths in head::

::fails having forgotten all maths ever learnt::

Jan 28th, 2002, 12:38 AM
yep im 19!

lol @ you! forgot all your maths!

i always paid attention at school!

Jan 28th, 2002, 12:42 AM
i always paid ENOUGH attention. you don't need mental arithmetic to get an A in maths a-level, just a calculator, some last-minute revision and a flukily kind exam paper.

are you a student then?

Jan 28th, 2002, 12:48 AM
yeah im a student! lol! but not a very bright one!

Jan 28th, 2002, 12:50 AM
i'm sure being a student takes away intelligence, i always worked much better at school! hmmm... you in london then? have a few friends there but am shockingly bad at keeping in contact so haven't spoken to them in a while. great city though, i swear i'll be living there in 3 years time!

Jan 28th, 2002, 12:55 AM
london is a great place - if you havent been there before or you ar naive! but again its where everything happens - so you need to be here!

Jan 28th, 2002, 12:57 AM
I've been there before, I go there too much and it breaks my bank balance's heart! Bloody train fares. It is where everything happens - that's why I'm going to end up there!

From The Sun

POP Idol loser Zoe Birkett last night vowed to stay celibate while she tries to become a star.

The 16-year-old schoolgirl a huge fan of the worlds most famous virgin Britney Spears declared: Im not interested in boys.

Pretty Zoe, voted off the hit wannabe show on Saturday night, also dismissed rumours of a romance with fellow contestant Gareth Gates.

She told how the 17-year-old heart-throb had become her cherished best pal. But she said: I dont fancy him at all he just isnt my type.

Id never see him as boyfriend material hes too clean cut. Were more like brother and sister.

Zoe, of Darlington, Co Durham, sobbed as the ITV1 shows hosts Ant and Dec told her she was out as predicted by the Sun readers poll published on Saturday.

But she is still determined to land a record deal. And she does not want ANY distractions, especially fellas.

She said: I havent got time for any boys in my life and Im not looking for any kind of relationship with anyone.

Ive never had a proper boyfriend and Im not looking. Ive never been boy-crazy like other girls my age. All I want to do is sing.

She added: I intend to be celibate for a few more years while I get my career off the ground.

Zoes exit leaves Gareth, Darius Danesh, 21, and Will Young, 23, to slug it out in Pop Idols final two rounds.

She was the youngest of the shows contestants to make the last ten. And she is proud to have been the only girl in the final four.

She said: I knew from the start a guy would win. I think young girls are the majority of people voting each week so Im not surprised I went out.

Guys can sit there and ogle at girls on the stage. But theyre not likely to pick up the phone and vote. I had prepared myself for being knocked out but I was very sad because Ive had such an amazing experience on the show.

Bookies William Hill last made Gareth 11-2 ON favourite to clinch the Pop Idol title. Will and Darius were both rated at 11-2 against.

she'll change her mind :)
