"There are racism in FWTT" says Noventz

LONDON - Gisele Noventz, who was upset by a newcomer junior player, Marta Maria Conde Martinez in her non-edited interview revealed that in the locker room some players were celebrating her loss, because of her skin color.

"That was nasty. How could they be so rude?" said Noventz to The Sun. The last year's semifinalist also said that it's not the first time she was discriminated because of her race.

"When I was beginning my career in tennis, it was just bigger. They used to check me everytime I put my foot inside the locker room. Now they're just holding their feelings cause I could beat them before" said Gisele who also says that some reactions have changed because she entered top ten.

"I'm sure Ruflina was treated in the same way by those players or others too."

When asked who they were, Gisele didn't hesitate, and accused "They were Brenda, Marteena and Tami." she said "It's better now, but I'm not stupid, and I can clearly say thet treat me differently or stare me up and down."

Gisele Noventz will be playing her doubles match with Anna Kroulikova this monday.

Gisele Noventz you sad whore, just because you are washed up and lost 1st Round doesn't mean you have to make shit up just to get some attention. Your ass might as well retire and feed off the little money you've made in your pathetic career. Bitch.

Anjelica will back Gisele up.

"I know there are many racists on this tour, I've heard some pretty nasty comments in the locker room. I can't name names, because I'm honestly not sure about some of them. I do know that Anabel Conde-Martinez is one of the culprits. It's sad to see people being harrassed because of their race these days."

"Gisele, my heart goes out to you. I just hope that racism can be stopped and that we all can live together in harmony, regardless of our skin colour, religion or customs. I would just like to say that I am fully committed to the war against racism. I am of mixed background, being both Canadian and Polish, and I understand what agony and anger Gisele is feeling right now after these dispicable and uncalled for incidents. Again, my heart goes out to her. Thank you"

Karla answers to Gisele... i rather not make any comments, think things going on the tour are pretty obvious to everybody, i donīt think there is a need to take it out of proportion.

Tami Sugarn Speaks Out Against Novent's Comments:

"I dislike Gisele cos she's Gisele, not because she is a different race than me. She's a fame-whore, and she's always looking for attention. I hate her becuase she's a horrid person, and I think she screams LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME, at all times. This is not because of her race, it's PERSONAL. I'll admit, I didn't want to come out and be caddy like this, but this is the last straw. IF she had such deep issues with me, she could have taken it up with me personally rather than making a sad press release. You know taken the mature level. I consider myself friends with Ruflina Taliamonosoko, but oh yes I'm a rascist so that can't be. It's sad when someone feels she needs to resort to things like this to get attention. I've done my best to stay out of controversy, but of course this has to come along. The accusations are false, and she's delusional."

Tiffani Eggert had this to say:
"I really don't think Tami or Marteena for that matter could be accused of racism. They are sweetharts and both good friends of mine. As is Gisele Noventz and Rulfina Taliamonosko. We've spent much time together and I never noticed. However, Anjelica de la Courtiere on the other hand..."

"Players are more and more selfish..."

"Ask me if you need my help. I'm a black balt of judo when I was teenage ages, remember?"

Ruflina agrees with Gisele, somewhat

There are definitely racists on the tour. But I disagree with her naming names. Tami and Marteena are both tremendous friends of mine, have been to my 2 weddings, and even stayed at my house during the San Diego tournament. However, as for others on the tour, I do feel hostility just because I am black. But, there are also homophobic girls on the tour as well that treat some of the lesbian players badly. There is hate on the tour no matter who you are or what you are, but the most important thing is to rise above it and succeed.

Jane Wong back up Gisele claims

'It is true there is a lot of hostility directed especially towards Gisele and Ruflina. I heard some really really bad comment from some player to Gisele which is definitely considered racism. I will not give names but at least I heard some comment from one of the three players Gisele mention.'

LOL @ Tiffani calling Anjelica racist. It's not bad enough that she stabs her friends in the back, but then she makes up lies about them. Everyone on the tour knows what a ridiculous and stupid comment that is. But then, we expect that from the likes of Tiffani.

Monica Gambill

'Theres a lot of hostility towards certain players in the lockeroom.I have faced some myself cos of my aggresive personality but i have calmed down and learnt from my mistakes. On the other hand Gisele can't help being black neither can Ruffy and Eva can't help being gay either. Its just the way things are. Some people need to grow up and look at peoples personalities.Gisele is a great girl fun, bubbly and fiesty if you get on the wrong side of her shes evil LOL!'

there is a lot of racism everywhere. i don't know brenda ot tami that well, but marteena is one of my best friends on tour and she is definetly not a racist.

and yes, i heard players talking bout gisele and her first round match and i better not repeat what was said...

"I just wanna thanks the players who understand my situation and for those who're criticizing me, saying this, that I want to be on spotlight.. bullshit.. I don't need all this crap.. I just said what I said because I had to. In the world we're living on today, it's just unacceptable any kind of racism. So you guys should review your concepts and start living in the nowdays.. Once again, I don't need everyone's attentions. You guys are just wrong about my person.."

"I hope FWTT can take care of it."

"It's quite obvious you wanted the attention by naming specific names just to stir up controversy. I understand the sentiment, and I agree with you there is rascism out there. Not just for you, but I've felt it in this time as well, but for you to mention my name and others just to stir up controversy it makes you look rather suspect. There's a fine line between spreading concern for a serious issue, and making a mockery of it by turning it into a publicity circus."

"I hope Gisele can rethink her words before she says them, if she's truly sincere about the problem."
