She's no longer relevant as a player, she's good at getting butts in the seats though.

This begs the question.... What impact has she had on the game? I say less than Martina/Venus/Serena.

well, she's had so many injuries...

Oh yeah an exclusive to the radio station, that no one else has heard

Just 3 days ago she said the following " I've been advised not to play this week or next week, and I'll have to wait and see what the program will be after that. "

Oh well believe what you like.. But I think you are little early with your "What impact has she had on the game" DA FOREHAND, but whatever floats your boat..

BTW you would be irrelevent too, if you couldn't play due to constant injuries.

that's why this is a msg. board...if you think i'm wrong you can always post evidence or your opinion to contradict. I guess you're still trying to dig some up.

I'd still like 2C her and Marti try to start up a doubles only circuit. (Regular tour players welcome, just not during weeks they're playing singles, too).

I just did give an opinion, but I suppose it was so hard for you to see, that it went straight over your head

Do I need to repeat what I said? Obviously I do.. injuries, constant injuries, not been able to play due to injuries, it isn't to hard to see that she hasn't been playing due to injuries. Did I mention injuries

Ok Martina Hingis got injurred and bascially retired, but if I asked you her impact on the game I'm sure you could write a thesis.

yeah but even without those injuries (which were many) it wasn't like she was playing great tennis. Adidas,AUSOPEN 2002 2003, Canadian Open,USOPEN 2002 etc
She has had rotton luck with injuries but her main problem was mentally.

Oh yeah I don't believe the rumour.

I said it was to early to start judging her impact on the game, Anna hasn't retired yet, hopefully she still has 8-10 years left.Of course it isn't going to be as big as the players you mentioned, but she has had impact, whether you like it or not.

noone

Are you aware that this should be TWO WORDS, separated by a space? Thus "no one."

Sorry, it's just annoying to me and I see it all the time on this board.

Anyway, I've seen nothing about Anna K. "retiring" in any newspaper so far this morning and I've read all of the New York papers. I mean, it makes the front of the sport page when she cries after a practice session so I'm sure they would also have a story if she retired.

I hope Anna doesn't retire and I hope she gets over her injuries. I would really love to see her win a tournament.

I assume this is aimed at me, since having a quick look thru the posts, I am the only one who used the word "no one" :)

Very aware that there should be a space between the words, just a habit of putting it together when typing, there are plenty of other errors in my posts, just couldn't be bother going thru them and fixing them all up. (but this time I just might ;)) As long as people understand what you are saying (those who read them) that's the most important thing, I think.

just a stupid rumor.

no need to argue over her impact... neither of you have evidence... its all opinion that seems to be based upon whether you like her or not.

hey, if story's true, it increases the chances that she might start doing nekkid calendar shoots :)

Did anyone bother to call the radio station to verify the story?

It might be a good idea for Anna to take a break. Cause it's not wise to resume playing just to get another injury.
