Aren't they all done by IBM? or is that just the live scoring?

I really see no differences other than aesthetics between the sites.

well it isn't RG that's for sure!

Half the time I couldn't access it and when I could there were hardly any interviews and the scoreboard was stuck :(

i give the edge to the us open bc not only can you access last year's site, but they have video clip highlights from each day, and all the matches quarters on. i think thats just kinda neat.

The Roland Garros website has to take some of the honours if only for its absolutely unique and inspirational prose style. Even if you knew nothing about the event, you could tell that the articles and reports have all been translated from French because of the sophisticated vocabulary and rather esoteric turns of phrase. You get the same thing with French-speaking players - Henin's press conferences always feature some eloquent and unusual ways of saying things.

Mind you, the RG site was lousy with its interviews this year, whereas the US Open had them in abundance after the 2002 event. And I like the AO's straightforward, conversational style. Unfortunately, the design of the Wimbledon site is too dull, functional and white, just like the clothing the players have to wear. You can tell it's been put together by someone either bored or with little time on their hands.

Wimbledon is the best to me because I like video clips of matches, and they have an abundance of them errr.......had. They have now changed the site and the videos of past years are no longer there.
