The Williamses

Serena is Rank 1 n Venus is Rank 4 = 5

The Belgians

Kim is Rank 2 n Justine is Rank 3 = 5

No more Williamses Dominant as they are equally stronger with The Belgians ;)

That's by ranking. ;)

If they were to each play a round robin of singles of Williams v. Belgians:

Serena v. Justine
Venus v. Kim

Serena v. Kim
Venus v. Justine

Serena/Venus v. Justine/Kim (doubles)

and do that on all different surfaces....now that would be interesting to see! :D

ESPN should do that...would help the ratings quite a bit. ;) :)

it would be interesting to see 1jackson2001 but what are the chances Kim is going to play the Semis and the final FedCup in November when she has to defend 1727 in the fall season.

Justine loves to play fed cup..if she's not injured she'll play.. I don't know about Kim, Serena and Venus.

Do you know what surface it will be on too, per? :)

sunset, I don't know why you say that..since Fed Cup semi's are after the last tournaments in the season.

Glenn, Belgium is trying to get the finals (semifinals and finals are in the same place). We never played USA at home, so I think Belgium has a decent chance to get them. Since it is at the end of the season, I don't think the players care about what surface it is (it wouldn't interfere with their preparation for other tournaments). If they want to have a good chance against the USA, they should pick clay.

If on clay, I think it will be a win for the Belgians, but on hardcourt, I think the Americans will take it.
On clay it would look like this:

Justine def. Serena in 3 sets
Kim def. Venus in 3 sets

Justine def. Venus in 2 sets
Serena def. Kim in 3 sets

Serena/Venus def. Justine/Kim in 2 sets

I think. :)

Well last year in Spain we were not allowed to play on clay, if so, we'd had another Fed Cup more today

LMFAO@the belgians thrashing the americans in the semis :D

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLl

ps....if its in November, isnt that a year Henins been married? i could think of better things to be doing than playing two sets of ties...i dont think she'll do it, and Kim likes to spend alot of time with Lleyton so shes a doubt too....

as for Venus and Serena, well who can predict their actions??

ps have the semis and the finals ever been played on clay b4???

I know..I think the countries + surfaces have to alternate..but since Belgium never organised the finals it shouldn't be a problem to do this on clay

I hope Kim and Justine play, but my guess is they will!
USA has many other good players beside Serena and Venus, but Belgium doesn't, so they'll have to play!
Davenport/Capriati/Seles/Shaughnessy would crush Callens/Maes/Flipkens!

Kim will play. Even is she does like to spend a lot of time with lleyton skipping the fed cup finals would not help her really as Lleyton would still be playing tournaments, and hopefully davis cup finals so it's not like they could go on a holiday together or anything. Kim has said she loves to play for Belgium, and someone I can't remeber his name :o Some Belgian tennis official guy said that if the Belgian team made the semis they'd put in to host it, now I think Belgium have a great chance of getting to host it, going on the success of Antwerp and the public support that tournament got and also on the crowds in Bree, and both girls success in Paris, as well as they won it in 2001. If it was to be in Belgium, do you really think Kim wouldn't play? I don't think, so and Henin wouldn't play doubles Kim and Els would play, like they did in Bree.

well if they DID host it, it gives the Belgian crowd an excuse to act how they like to act :o
