It is heartbreaking to see her go down in the ranking like that. so many ijuries. if she did retire, i want her to go out in style. healthy and win another slam

Monica has pretty much not been able to catch a break at all after returning, not really if you think about it, at least on-court results.

Sadly, I do not think the end of her career will be any different.

Aren't good things supposed to happen to good people?

Good things are supposed to happen to good people. I think most everyone wants Monica to at least have the opportunity to retire with a recent Slam on her record and a couple of good wins to go with it.

But I have become convinced over the last 2-3 years that Monica for some reason or another is not fated to have a good end to her tennis career, for whatever reason.

I think she should just play indoors and a minimal hardcourt schedule and skip clay and only concentrate on wimbledon and usopen.....forget Paris and Melbourne.

Good things are supposed to happen to good people, but it hardly ever happens.

"Good things are supposed to happen to good people"

when you think about it. that's a pretty cruel statement because in fact it means people who have a sucking life are supposed to be bad :o (this is just in general)

It's funny you say that because I feel that Monica's best chance at a Slam is the Aussie. Wimbledon and the US Open belong to the Williams family. Besidses, Monica hasn't done too well there recently. It's either playing too much tennis prior to the Open, the wind in the stadium(which she struggles to handle) and just lots of strange losses.
