Well... after all the upsets that have happened today, I must say I am a little astonished, and sad for seeing Lindsay injured again.
Anyway, I must recall this rally in Venus - Zvonareva match at the seventh game. I believe it was Venus serving 3-3 and Vera came from a 40-0 disadvantage. And at 40-30 there was this AMAZING rally with Vera running all over the court, both players desperated to get the ball and finally win the point.. and there it was, a beautiful forehand down the line for Vera. I gotta tell you, I got REALLY excited at that point... I could watch it over and over.

Yea, I remember that point, I got up off my chair and yelled: COMON VERA, KEEP GOING!
My sister was like: err what's going on in there, and who's Vera?
:o :o :o

LOL Glenn! That WAS an amazing point - I thought that Venus had it won about three times but Vera kept getting everything back with amazing shots, and then finally with the forehand down the line.... What a great match from Vera! Good luck against Nadia!

Actually I was watching that point with my Grandfather and he said it was the best rally in womens tennis ever. I would not go that far but it is up there.

NO! there was a pt in the cappy petrova match that was literally TWICE AS LONG and harder hitting which ended when cappy hit a drop shot which petrova chased down but cappy made a lunged and hit a forehand passing chip off the Petrova shot!

That was definately the best shot of the day. Well Done Vera, I hope for more of the same agains Nadia :) By the time of this shot I was really excited, and not only because the BBC were showing this match live ;) Truly Amazing!

No, unfortunately not  But they started at the start of the third set after they had shown the recording of Agassi's match. I didn't think they were going to show it bu when Sue Barker said they were going to I got really excited! But at least the BBC were showing Vera :bounce: and the best part of the match was probably in the final se so well done BBC (makes a change :o  ) They usually only show mens matches if any, like on Saturday when they showed the whole of Tim Henmans match live, I watched that as well :)
