:fiery: :fiery: :fiery: I AM SO PISSED OFF AT ESPN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :fiery: :fiery: :fiery:

They said they would televise Lindsay's match at 4 pm. The first match they showed was Lappenti - Costa, then they televised last set and half of Hewitt - Robredo, and finally Gaudio - Kuerten.
I find that acceptable, since Gaudio and Kuerten's match ended up at 3pm. ESPN commentators repeteadly said how delighted and how great it would be to have Lindsay's match to comment. And then you know what OBVIOUSLY happened, they showed AGAIN, ALL DAY LONG until 9 pm. the three matches that had been shown in the morning.
NO WTA!!! I'm dying here, I haven't seen Lindsay since the AO and here I don't think they will televise her against Conchita... so I don't know if I'll be even able to see her play at Roland Garros!!!! The only two WTA matches they showed were the Venus vs. Evie match (pure crap) and Serena's first round winning 6-1, 6-1.
I mean, in Argentina (and Latin America) the only WTA tennis we get to see are in the Grand Slams. From the men's side we have practically all tournaments, including all Masters Series. It just makes me so MAD AND ANGRY, besides I'd rather have them saying they won't televise the Lindsay's match , instead of having us excited and expecting it. And what's the point of repeting the same three matches TWICE a day, having like 8 or 10 matches more to show. I know they want to show all Latin American players, and I like to see those matches, but repeat them over and over without leting the audience see others... they did not even show Paola's match against Kim.

This is really sad...

Im mad too! Lindsay's match was actually the toughest out of the 3 Americans today (Venus and Jenny being the others) and NBC managed to show Venus' WHOLE boring match and parts of Jennifer where they absolutely crushed their opponents! I guess they don't consider Lindsay one of the big faves to win this :(

Yeah that actually surprised me..they seem to be giving Davenport the shaft. Looks like she'll join Kim in coverage exile

The worst part of it all........... ESPN has broadcast rights to three of the four slams! So the shitty coverage will continue!

When I saw the weekday schedule was starting at 8am... I thought GREAT no tape delay... but sure enough ESPN has tape delay while live matches are being played!

You have got to be kidding me: ESPN showed Venus and Capriati's third round matches tonight, AFTER they had already been shown on tape delay on NBC! Davenport is finally getting a little coverage in the last 15 minutes they have

As for the men, everyone but Agassi and Hewitt are getting the total shaft. I have yet to see more than a few games from Guga or Moya and have seen nothing of Ferrero, the supposed men's title favorite. Now that Hewitt is out, it appears that Agassi will be hogging all of the men's coverage -- hopefully that will stop tomorrow

What pisses me off is ESPN's insistence on playing and replaying matches. They showed Agassi's second round match about 3 times, and now Venus and Capriati are being shown for the second time in the same day. They would rather replay the most boring matches of the day than show someone who doesn't have the American flag by their name.

NBC didn't show Lindsay's match against Dechy, but ESPN 2 showed the second set during the highlight show, which started at 7:30pm (pacific time)

It's understandable that you want to see your faves, but I suggest you stop putting down others faves matches because you don't get to see your fave. Venus' match WAS NOT "pure crap" or "BORING". I enjoyed every last minute of her match, and will continue to enjoy her matches.
