View Full Version : VENUS is looking very fit once again

VENUS was playing and looking like her old self once again and that brought a smile to my face once again (along with this nice pic). :)

http://www.rolandgarros.com/images/pics/large/bv_0531williams_v2.jpg

I am sure that her half of the draw has gotten more insecure since that three set debacle with Elia and that they are now prepaing themselves to possibly meet up with the dangerous VENUS of old.

Go VENUS!!

Venus looked recovered from her injury thats for sure, Farina wasnt that big a test, so Venus was really trying to improve her serve, and it was working! She fired to some big shots.

I would like to see the fastest serves of the tournament again, cos I thik venus will be top.

We can hope. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Let's hope for good results from Serena and Venus tomorrow. :)

The VENUS of OLD can play as much as she wants but the COMPETITION isn't as OLD as it used to be...it is NEWER and BETTER so until VENUS starts playing BETTER than 2 years ago she can keep DREAMING.

Living in la la land must be nice because I remember seeing venus in the final of the aussie not kim not justine not momo not lindsay not jen. Yes clay gives some of the others an edge but so what? anything can happen on clay and once the clay season is over its a whole new ballgame. Anyway an american is winning this championship, belive it.

GO VENUS
GO SERENA
GO CHANDA
GO JEN
GO LINDSAY

An American? You better hope Serena pulls through because Mauresmo, Clijsters, and Henin are more likely to win than any other American on your list.

I am sorry that you people closed down Martina's fans site so you
have nothing good to say about other players.

well you may have a point with lindsay and chanda, but stranger things have happened. Hell even martina nav who sucks on clay won twice. Then there is venus and jen of course only one of them have a chance but still youre dealing with last years finalist and the winner from the previous year.

I think the odds of an american winning it all are better than that of a belgian. and momo, bless her soul, will be lucky not to succumb to the pressure in or before the quarterfinal.

I can say a lot of good about other players. Ex:

HENIN and CLIJSTERS are better than VENUS and SERENA at this year's French Open.

I'm sure Justine & Kim will think I'm quite nice!

Well I can say something good about other players as well. Ex:

SERENA AND VENUS were better than HENIN and CLIJESTERS at last year's French Open.

As for this year, Serena, Kim, and Justine are all playing about the same level. I will even add in jen and momo to that group. sadly venus is not playing at their level yet, despite her third round performance, which shows promising signs. See? That is called having an objective view which you are incapable of because you are so biased against the williams sisters.

Anyway, I wonder if Kim is concerned that she will go the way of her hubby in one of the next rounds? :p

unpatriotic, you are not but a refugee from some eastern European
country cleaming to be an American.
Oh well, I understand your feeling because your favourite had made
history by retiring from the tennins at the age of 22 years thanks
to Venus and Serena for helping her in that direction.

I guess some people cannot quit because, frankly they are sad people. But getting into arguments with them is exactly what they want.

Just ignore them, I mean if someone is bothering you just ignore them. What they have to say will have no weight then.

True Luna, but I don't understand why this poster has to come in every thread about Venus or Serena with some type of negative comment?

Anyways, I'm just happy that Venus is playing better and most importantly feeling better. She was smiling today, and I hope she just improves each round.

Also, she cracked me up with those square gold earrings. :D

C'mon, guys! o0O0o doesn't deserve that much attention. Just let him live in his dream while we carry on with reality. And the reality is: we now have a rejuvenated Venus, one that certainly can reach the final.

You guys must know by now, that after woshipping Hingis all his life, oooo still cant believe Hingis will refuse him. The girl sleeps with every Tom, Dick and Harry except oooo. Imagine his pain and cut him some slack, poor thing. He has only her fotos to fufil his fantasy, hence his bitterness in life. He lashes out at V&S, because they are responsible for running Hingis out of the circuit- the only place he gets to see her live...

BTW, oooo you are the most pathetic asshole I ever had to read what he wrote.

Yes, Venus looked great in the third round...popping down those powerful serves. And she seems much more confident. She can still cut down on some unforced error's and those annoying double faults. But the pace of her serves has picked up and her second serve doesn't look that shabby either.

Kim was better than Venus an Serena at the AO, but I don't remember her playing in the final.

However, despite playing much better than her previous match, VENUS still has refused to improve her serve and forehand technique.

I know that she still has some degree of an abdominal injury, she still is determined to play with poor technique on those two strokes.

Anyway, I hope that VENUS makes the finals once again this year. :)

Venus just refreshed my confidence in her and her health. I was so happy to see the pirouette again that I almost cried; no joke. When they're happy and dominating, I glow. There ain't a better start or end of a day than a Williams win but a Williams hoisting a trophy. Saturday, oh glorious Saturday! *raises wine glass and takes a sip* :bounce: :D

Although I expect negative comments from such lowlifes as 5 O's, Venus so-called fans need to get off her back about her play these last few rounds. The girl has actually done a great job considering her physical state. Hell, so what if her technique isn't always on target. She has relied on her intellect to get this far in the tournament. Obviously, she was at the brink of pulling out of her second round match due to her injury, yet was able to utilize all available to her to pull out a win. This, in and of itself deserves praise. But a few of her so-called fans continue to berate her. To those of you who don't see and appreciate what she has actually accomplished at this point, I say go PHUCK yourself. Venus is surviving one day at a time. In fact, she is doing more than just surviving. She has better results than most of the top players who are not currently injured.

But......Venus' lost more matches than Serena did - and not to mention she's had a lot more difficult matches.

- Me: *tries to look dashing (it isn't working* Serena, please don't take my stalking your cute ass to heart, but I just think you're sooooooo seeeeeeeexxyyyyyyy *does deep throat growl*.
- Serena: *giggles*
- Venus: What about me?!?!?!?
- Me: *rolls eyes* You're too tall...and besides *gives sexy smile* Serena's a lot more fun and a lot more talented - on court.
- Serena: Sister *swirls sexy finger* he's MAH huunnnyyy!!!!! And don't you get cho skank-ass fingers offa mah MAN!!!!!!! *clicks fingers*.
- Venus: What chu say girl *clicks fingers loudly*.
- Serena: Ah said, he's MAHNE!!!!!
