Yes but only if she changed her nationality to French. She could not do it as a belgian.

She's already said in multiple interviews that she doesn't plan on playing for another country but Belgium, so no, she will never play Fed Cup for France.

The France part of Belgium is just the south of the country where they speak French, this has nothing to do with the country France

Justine is as Belgian as Kim, they just don't speak the same language, but they are both born in Belgium...

Kim speaks Flemish, which I think is from Holland. Perhaps Kims should play for Holland, lets face it they need her.

Or failing that, she could always try her luck in the Netherlands.

That is very interesting that you say that, because on Fox Sports (the aussie version) they have stupid John Barret commentating and they showed the last point of Maleeva's match and he said she now goes on to play Kim Clijsters of the Netherlands  and I was like what an idiot  They had a draw up on the screen and they had the letter NED next to Kim's name. It is so clear that stupid JB or whatever he likes to be called clearly doens't like Kim as you'd think he'd pick up she's Belgian not Dutch afterall she is the number 2 but then ofcourse he doesn't consider her to be one of the top players  (and just for the record he never mentions Justine either when listing the top players and those who can threaten the Williams and dominate their opponents) So I'm thinking he is a bit jealous that Britain can't produce a champion whilst Belgium has 2.

No... He's just a bit old. Probably doesn't remember that toilet is in "bathroom" and not "bedroom" half the time.

Can't blame us brits (or former brits) for being jealous of belgium...we still haven't got over Sam Smith beaten Conchita Martinez in the early rounds of Wim.....to have a female player crack the top twenty ,ooh what a dream ..she'd immediately be given Henwoman status , besides I thought that this EEC stuff and one currency and all that, meant that whatever water their drinking in belgium (must be something in the water) the belgians are supposed to export some of it ,preferably free of charge to britain. John barret is a ponce anyway.

I remember when Baltacha managed to win a couple of matches at Wimbledon... She nearly got her own 30 minute BBC special.

AllyBakerFanclub: Belgium consists of two parts. The northern part is called 'Vlaanderen' (Flanders) where they speak Dutch (the same language as they speak in The Netherlands). The southern part is called 'Wallonie' (Walloon) where they speak French. So, Kim lives in Vlaanderen and Justine in Wallonie.
