It's not quite celebrating but I'm finding my new avatar comforting.

OK ;) , how about Amelie started the year with 2765 points and now has 2780, so she has successfully defended all her Australian points from last year and in fact gained 15 points! :) (Which is sort of what Sonja said but I couldn't think of anything else right now - I'm still suffering from sleep deprivation ;) )

Hi GoSandrine! It's actually from Fed Cup last year, between France and Italy (July, I think). France had just won but Italy joined in the celebrations too! It's from French 'Tennis' magazine, which, if you like French players is just the best magazine. There are probably quite a few other Sandrine photos I could post if you like? Although I can't promise I'll do it today, but over the next few weeks..! :)

I like the photo even more now. What a great display of sportsmanship by the Italian ladies. The players on both teams must really like each other. :D But I should have recognized the Italian girls by their height. (oops, did I say that???) :o
