I'm really looking forward to this match... I think that it can get really good. Of course the odds are on Kim's side but Paola's been playing some very high quality-consistent tennis. She has lost only 3 games in the last two matches
And as we all know Kim always trashes opponents in the first rounds. She's lost twice the number of games Paola has.. but has been on fire for a few weeks now. Can she keep the level of concentration? Paola was a quarterfinalist last year and she said that she "had nothing to loose against Kim".

We all know Kim is the favourite one... but who knows? Maybe she's on a bad day or something... or maybe Paola plays the best tennis of her life... or maybe thing just happen the way they're supposed to...
I'm looking forward to a great match, specially between these two great, classy players.

Let the best one win!

i don't think it will be too easy at all. paola is a solid clay courter and could give anyone trouble on her favorite surface if they aren't on.

It will be a two-set win for Kim...but much tougher than most expect IMO. I'd say Kim 6-3, 6-4...but with a tougher match than the scoreline suggests....Lots of deuces but Clijsters winning the important points...

I Paola plays the way she has been playing, it isn't goimg to be easy for Kim, but I think she will win, but if Paola has a medicore match, then Kim will win.

Knowing Paola and her inconsistency...this wont even be a contest...kim in two easy sets...

Paola played great her first two rounds but who was she playing?
Lets take a look :

1 st round : 6-1 6-0 against Edina Gallovits ranked 200.

2 nd round : 6-1 6-1 against Corina Morariu ranked 313.

Don't read too much in those scores. However the match can be interesting, but I would be shocked if Kim loses.

I just finished looking at the stats from Kims' and Paloa's first two matches and I must admit that regardless of the rankings of Paola's opponents, she could give Kim some trouble. Her serve has actually been steadier than Kim's, especially in the second round and her winners opposed to her unforced errors were better in the second round than Kim's. Service speed isn't an issue becasue both have been serving at about the same speed and the winning percentage on first adn second serves have been bout the same, but Kim's percentages have been slightly better. So I will restate my prediction; If kim plays like she palyed in her first round match, it' lights out for Paola, but if Kim plays like she played in her second round match, then there is the possibility for an upset.

I cannot see it happening. Paola is a good clay court player but I don't think she has the weapons to challenge Kim or hurt her in anyway.

Kim has only conceded 12 games to Paola in two career meetings; both were on hardcourt (Miami), but Paola is no slouch on hard. I think it will be straight sets for Kim but they will be tough, tougher than the scoreline will suggest.

LOL. 6-2 6-2. Kim doesn't break a sweat in early rounds anymore.

Paola is good but she and Kim are in different leagues

Kim will win, easily. It's almost laughable to think otherwise.

Paola has a chance, but Kim will have to make more errors than usual for Suarez to win. This was how Clijsters lost to Fernandez last year. Suarez also beat Mauresmo last year so she has upset potential.

I think it will be reasonably tough but a clear victory for Kim - probably two sets, maybe 7-5 6-3 or that sort of score. Don't ask me though, I though Serena-Barbara was going to be that sort of match too!

I am a big Paola fan and love love love her...HOWEVER, even I must admit that it's going to have to take A LOT for the upset to happen. Kim has been playing fantastic consistent tennis. I think that she's matured SO MUCH and has a very healthy outlook on life (and tennis). I think this allows her to be more mellow and even more consistent.

So I HOPE Paola can win tomorrow, but I THINK it will be something like 6-2, 6-3 for Kim.

Give it your best Paola!!! Your fans respect and love you!!!!

Well I'm surprised, I don't think Kim and Paola's games are so far
Congrats to the winner and good luck for the loser, you have a doubles tittle to win :bounce:
