View Full Version : SERENA hits the best point of the tournament!

First set, sixth game, Schett hits a perfect cross court, well paced volley, tha I, the announcers and many fans believed to be a clear winner, when SERENA ran after, caught and hit a perfect one hand backhand chip volley for a winner.

That point put the exclamation point on SERENA'S desire to win this title and after seeing that point, I guarantee that SERENA will win her second straight RG singles title next week. :)

Go SERENA!

Great point, but she hit it with the frame so I wouldn't call it a "perfect one hand backhand chip volley".

Cariaoke
May 30th, 2003, 01:28 PM
 the point is she dropped it in for a winner and the crowd erupted with thunderous applause and Serena practically skipped to her chair. :)

one of the best points, if not the best of the entire tournament. :)

Tee Rexx is a bit confused. ;)
He was probably in a hurry when posting this just to make sure he's the first one this time. ;)

It did not hit the frame because if it did the ball would have gone into the net and not come bace at a cross court angle.

but it was amazing tho

and the way she ran to the chair was cute cute :)

Serena couldn't give a "sheite" if she "used her elbow", the ball fell on her opponent's side of the net...game and set!!! And, I'm sure Serena could do "without" all your "bagging' and "backhanded" comments...!!!

GoDominique, you "know exactly" what I meant in that post. However, since English is not your "first language", I'll try being more explicit. It really doesn't matter whether the point was intentional or unintentional, luck or skill, a mishit or a sure shot...Serena WON the point. That's all that matters. Any snide remarks by you concerning how Serena won the point is uncalled for. You are not a fan of Serena's and seem to jump at every chance to denigrate anything she does.

Hope that it's now clear as to what I meant. However, in case you still don't get it; "Shut the phuck up"...!!!

TeeRexx

Pureracket - It is jealousy over the success of my faves and the wit and intelligence that I possess that drives those two nimrods wacky. :)

No, sweety, sorry, your wrong. The POINT was that Serena hit "The best shot of the tournament" and if it was a lucky mishit, I hardly think you could call it that...Go back, read the first post, and figure it out.

Tee, you know what I'm sure the overwhelming majority of posters on this board are pretty god damn gay, and rather proud of it, so I'm REALLY sure they don't really appreciate you trying to call other people gay as an insult....so why don't you grow up, and get some maturity beyond the level of a first grader?

They don't have to mention it, as I SAW it in slow-motion, and that's enough for me.
As I said, a great point, and amazing that Serena reached the ball at all, but there was also some luck involved.
That's all.

 Rtael, my dear, what on earth are you talking about...??? My post was in response to GoDom's assertion about Serena's set point, and if you had read correctly, you only reiterated what I said...!!! Please go back and re-read the posts and maybe you'll "understand" what was going on before you "jumped in" all "loud and wrong"!!!
