I just read an article on www.tenniswest.com.au that casey has made the cut for qualies which i cant figure out so obviously casey has got the qualies wildcard that was on offer which is great becasue she reall really deserves it. I think casey will do well at wimbledon and is definately capable of causing a few upsets as she has the power for grass and is a capable volleyer
:D :wavey:  :) :lick:

LOL, I will believe it when I hear it properly from another source.

Have any of your actually bothered to read more of the articles?????

I think some 5 year old kid wrote it. Someone is obviously seriously dyslexic and has no clues about the circuit.

This is the article 'Casey advances in Stockholm'

Casey Dellacqua seems to be like Stockholm. (Casey is like a city??? LOL)
Today Casey reached the 3rd Round of the ITF Stockholm Open (There was no 3rd round!), after having to do her time going through the qualifying event as well (Sounds likes she's been in prison having to do her time!).

Dellacqua's results so far are as follows:

Round 1 (QUALIFYING): C. Dellacqua (AUS) b Michaela Johansson (SWE) 6-4 6-3
Round 1 (MAIN DRAW): C. Dellacqua (AUS) b Catalina Casrana (COL) 6-1 6-1
Round 2 (MAIN DRAW): C. Dellacqua (AUS) b Maris Wolfbrandt (SWE) 6-1 6-1

Love those names!!!

Look I'm not saying that the editor of the site mightnt have some inside knowledge and just can't announce it yet officialy. But judging by the articles this writer has no clues. He/She has might have just seen the alternate list with Casey's name on it and thinks that means she is in!!!

If Tennis Australia were going to award Casey the Wimbledon qualifying wildcard they would have done it on her Asian $50K performances and not the Sweden one! Unless of course Tennis Australia still thinks Casey beat Castano!!!

Either way Casey or Breadmore will get the qualifying wildcard for sure!!! But I dont think Tennis Australia will have made a decision yet, they will wait until Surbiton $25K has started!!

agree 100% ausboy
i just made contact with janet young head of womens tennis in australia and she said that at this stage no decisions had been made on the 2 wildcards on offer
so im guessing tenniswest has stuffed something up or it is wishful thinking

either way they got my hopes up again and once again they were shot down

casey qualified fro french juniors but lost in first round and lost in second round of doubles with szili

her next event as far as i can gather is flexistowe where she should capture title number one as the field is pretty weak
