From what are you able to conclude this?

JPV
May 23rd, 2003, 11:00 AM

Possible Williams final

Defending champion Serena Williams and her elder sister Venus have been placed in different halfs of the draw. This leaves the door open for yet another sister final in this year's French Open. on the men's side top see Lleyton Hewitt face a trsiky draw as the top contenders are on his half.

Now I found this. So finally it has been confirmed.

NEWS: Nadal withdraws from Roland Garros
Serena: Slam winner in shopping

The last four grand slam finals have been between the Williams sisters. Venus was only seeded third this time and could have been drawn in the same half as her younger sister, who beat her in last year's final.

Serena's potential semi-final opponent will be Belgium's Justine Henin-Hardenne while Venus could meet second-seeded Belgian Kim Clijsters.

In the men's draw, top seed Lleyton Hewitt faces a very tricky tournament as most of the clay surface specialists are in his part of the draw.

Hewitt could meet three times winner Gustavo Kuerten of Brazil as early as the fourth round and holder Albert Costa in the quarter-finals.
