Up to you to guess if it's a lie or not.

When i was 7 years old my parents took me and my sister (she was 1 back then) to an amusement park. My dad had gotten free traintickets thanks to his job so I was really excited about taking the train.

It was a great day, lots of fun but of course in the evening we had to go back home. On the train home I had to go to the toilet so i told my parents were I was going. However we had to get off at the next stop which I didn't know and my parents neither apparently. So when the train stops at the station, my parents realised they have to get up and quickly proceeded to do so.

Of course.....I was still on the train. So when I got back to my seat I didn't see my parents anymore. I guess I thought they went to the toilet as well and would come back soon. As soon as my parents realised they had forgotten about me they called the company and someone came to get me off the train. At that time however I was already in Enghien lol. And that's where my little adventure ended.

True or false?

That sounds true to me. I once left my purse and a wig-box on a train, so I can see leaving a child in the bathroom.

Neely once stole a really primo role from me, about 35 years ago I wanted the lead in the Broadway musical, "Tell Me, Darling" more than anything. The role was written especially for me, but my last play had flopped and Neely was sleeping with my agent Lyon Burke and got the role from me.

True or false, did Neely steal the lead in "Tell Me, Darling" or not?

About a year ago, while I was working, it was storming really badly outside. Lightning, thunder, rains, winds, the whole thing. It was just awful, and we were absolutely busy that day - just crazy busy. Anyway, lightning hit our building and the current travelled down our radio antenna into our telephone room, finding an 'ungrounded' circuit....which just happened to be my phone console. So I got zapped so hard the telephone headset blew off my head and landed about 6 feet in front of me. I had to go to the Emergency room, where I checked out ok. I had 2 days off from work and had irritation in my ear - but no burns.

True?...False?...

I'll tell a story:

Senior Prom. We went to the shore afterwards and I wound up making out with her best friend. My date left early and I was to meet her the next day at her house. After we came back, I went to pick up my tux. . I had to be picked up in one hour and since no one was home, I tried breaking into her house to get my tuxedo (she lived like 2 hours from me, and I had to meet my ride) Her friend came along and said to look in the garage. I looked in the garage and found a key. It opened the porch, but NOT the front door. But I found that key under the mat on the porch. I let myself in, called my mother and was unable to find my tux. I locked the door as I left and as I walked down the driveway, the whole family came home, I was THISCLOSE to getting busted inside the home. They said the tux was at the girls house who drove me home (so I would not have to go back to their house)

True or False?

It is 100% true! It was the funniest story and the girl that helped me break in her house was her best friend (that I made out with) I never saw either of them ever again....but we promised to never tell the girl what we did

Here’s my story :

I was about 5 years old. I had a cat and wanted to have a little walk with him like you do with a dog. So, I made I’m a leash with a some yarn and started to walk him I’m around the house. In fact, I was more pulling him since you know cats, they don’t really like to be in leash. When I made the leash, I made a slipknot without knowing what I was doing so. Than, I some point my babysitter just noticed I was pulling a death cat (I strangled them with the leash by accident)… My parents explained to me what really happened just a few years later.

True or false ?

It’s 90 % true. It could really have happened. In fact, the babysitter noticed me pulling the cat and realised he was getting strangled. So, she just got into this kind of rush, got scissors and cut the leash… The cat lives a few more years and I have been saved from getting accused of homicide.

You know, if that would have happened, I think the babysitter would have been more to blame. Little children can do stupid (and risky) things just because they aren’t aware of the consequences. That is why you don’t let them alone… ;)

Keith
May 20th, 2003, 08:23 PM
I was going to say that the sitter would have been left with the blame for sure...

I wasn't implying anything, I was clearly stating the obvious and I still stick with it! :p

So who's next?

Josh
May 20th, 2003, 11:19 PM
Me again I suppose lol

This happened 6 years ago. I was riding my bike to the tennis club on a lovely summer day. It was very hot and after a while I gotthirsty. I had a bottle of water in my bag which was placed at the back of my back. I tried to take it out of my bag while driving when suddenly I hit the kerb with my front wheel. Of course I fell over, stumbling right into the creek next to the road. Luckily I didn't break anything and on this hot summer day, a nice cold bath was more than welcome. ;)

True or false?

My dumbass story:

When I was a kid, don't remember the age, I had these cute little sandals that got wet. So, being a stupid kid, the best way to get them dry was to throw them in the toaster. A few minutes later, sandals were aflame and mom had to keep the house from burning down.

Here is my story

One day I was walking down the street and a fairy came out of the ground and said "Hello come to my home", so I followed, anyway I could not fit in the home, so I walked off, and who should I meet but Snow White, who said "You should not leave fairys by themseleves as they can be hurt easily".

"Emoitionally or physically"? I enquired.

Snow White slapped me.

Anyway 10 years later I was walking through the same neighbourhood and all the houses had been knocked down accept one, alone on the hill.
I went to the top of the long stairway, and found it was a hotel, called the Bates!. It was run by a young master Bates, who invited me to stay the night, and promised if I took a shower I could meet his mother. Anyway this did not sound appealing to me, as I had seen a film similar to this.

Then I found another house, and who was there but SJW and Cari, and they were having a lesian love party. I have not left since.

THIS STORY IS 100% TRUE
