Cold Mountain made me cry, the ending was what did it. I can't think of any others. Books usually don't make me cry.

The end of "Angel of Darkness" by Caleb Carr, "Shock Wave" by Clive Cussler, and "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" by Victor Hugo.

I've got to say, as strange as it may sound, "The Cather in the Rye". i don't really understand what or why, but it just made me...

Wow, I can think of so many...
To start off, "Night" by Elie Wiesel... an absolutely haunting piece of historical literature about the Holocaust, much more demanding and, therefore (at least in my opinion), powerful than its more popular companion, The Diary of Anne Frank...
Which brings me to... The Diary of Anne Frank! Although not as much as Night, it still had me weeping, and this was while I was reading it aloud in class! :o

Many others that don't involve the Holocaust :p
Lots of Steinbeck, including The Grapes of Wrath and Of Mice and Men, but also another not usually mentioned, The Pearl... the ending of that novella is absolutely tragic...
The Miracle Worker as well (with an excellent movie to go along with it)
How about Death Be Not Proud? Wept in class with that one too ;)

But the two books I cried the most over were (and don't laugh) when I was younger... Where The Red Fern Grows and The Midnight Club. WTRFG I read in 4th grade and could not stop crying, it's by Wison Rawls and is still my fave children's/YA book... and The Midnight Club is by Christopher Pike. This was about 8th grade and I was all into the Young Adult horror suspense thing, which is what Christopher Pike was known for... and then I picked up The Midnight Club expecting it to be another scary story and just balled through the whole thing (wondering if I should read it again to see if it's really that good or if I was just a baby) :)

Anyway, there are I'm sure many others I can't think of, but I know that I love a good read and a good cry, so I recommend any of the above mentioned :D
