I want to see this movie. It looks a lot and reminds me a lot of the colors in Les Demoiselles de Rochefort. Renee Zellweger described itas eyecandy and the sets and costumes look very colorful and alluring. Does anyone else want to see this?

Of course I am. Renee and Ewan. OMG! Did you know it was based on a novel? I might try and read it before it comes out here. The costumes are going to rock for sure. Possibly even an Oscar nod for Costume design is on the cards.

I saw a review on TV about this movie this morning. I haven't heard of it before that and it looks really interresting. I should see it too! ;)

I hate this movie, and I haven't seen it. Why do I hate it?! Because it is a complete and utter rip-off of one of mine and my sister's favorite classic movies, Sex and the Single Girl starring Natalie Wood and Tony Curtis. Natalie plays a young woman who writes a book about how women should be stronger when it comes to men, and Tony Curtis' character works for some magazine and is mad because the book is dropping sales in his magazine, so he tries to woo her off her feet to write a new book or something--been a while since I've seen it, but sound familiar?! However, does Renee, Ewan, or the director ever give credit to this film when they are promoting it?! Do they even know this film, exactly like Down with Love, even exists?! If they're so proud to be in this wonderful throwback to ugh, Doris Day and the marvelous sixties, and aren't even aware of this movie with Natalie and Tony and haven't called it a re-make, I hope a lawsuit is coming their way. Hmph

It's widely known and has been a topic for it's bad reviews. But there ain't no lawsuit coming that's for sure.

If you think about it 'Far from heaven' was a little like that too.

But 'Down with love' has more box office appeal and I think it'll be big.
