This is nothing with the debate of a possible reversal back to the Australian citizenship.

She is described by many articles as representing Yugoslavia, but I just saw the pictures in Yahoo which says Jelena is representing Serbia-Montenegro. I'm not good at geography, nor too sure about the names of countries. But are they the same?

Yugoslavia is no longer name for that country, it's Serbia and Montenegro now where is the SAME place.
