IMO the second best player of 2003 and Serenas first. Kims a close thrird though!

Yup, they are so committed to their job ;)

which is good because without so many tournaments they would probably be in the lower half of the top ten.

Yup!!! and if the williams sisters plays too many, it will surely worn them out specially with their power game. They are just so smart in scheduling, anyways they dont need warm up tournaments because they have each other to practice, unlike other players, they need to play more tournaments just to have a match practice.

WOW!!!! Belgians are really amazing, they want the top spot!!!! and its comming very soon!!!!!
Go KIM!!!!!!!

Ah really? :D So who would be ahaed then? :D

Let's see...
Lindsay? no...has played 8 tournaments already...thats as many as Justine and one more than Kim
Jennifer? no....has played 7 tournaments..as many as Kim and one less than Justine. There is no way she could have been ranked above Justine with one tournament more :)
Amélie...aaah well...She did play less tournaments..one less than Kim..two than Justine...but she's about 1000 points behind them so no...she should have won two Tier 1's then :)
Monica? She's currently at number 18...about 1500 behind them...she played 5 tournaments. She should have won a Grand Slam to catch up with the Belgian babes :)
Shaughnessy, Rubin, Dementieva, Hantuchova, Myskina, Coetzer...? no..didn't play less; didn't get as many points :D

hmm great point you have there Cybelle Darkholme :D;)
With only the two sisters ahead they would be number 3 and 4...lower half of the top ten hmmhmm ;)

Actually you're wrong. Kim and Justine have at least 600 points on #4 Lindsay. So even with 2 or 3 less tournaments, they'd still be Top 3 in the world for 2003.

and besides the Williams, who would exactly be in the upper half of the top 10?

Davenport? she has played 8 tournaments, as many as Justine

Capriati?

Hantuchova?

Mauresmo?

Chanda?

I am curious :p
