May 8th, 2003, 12:21 AM
Elizabeth :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: !! Not to brag, but I didn't even have time to scout this week with Fantasy Season:o . I am psyched to have gotten through two matches. Still, Jane is going to kick my ass:o . But I don't mind, Jane is a great friend. http://www.shuzo.co.jp/jr2002/photo/images/13.jpg

I agree :o

sorry alx ...

May 8th, 2003, 07:56 AM
I prefer the new way actually...it means u can see all the scores in one place and don't have to scroll through heaps of pages and posts to find scores...

Sam L
May 8th, 2003, 09:42 AM
You have a good point Dean and like Tiff said it's up to Alek :) But the problem with this is that it doesn't really encourage people to write articles, you could just look at that first post and leave the thread. Trust me, it's happened before in other games, that's the only reason why I'm worried ;)

May 8th, 2003, 11:48 AM
Carmen

May 8th, 2003, 12:07 PM
I did it this way this week because I have no time.

May 8th, 2003, 01:40 PM
I like the old format!

May 8th, 2003, 02:04 PM
martinafan also has a point. It is nice to have all the scores in one place.

May 8th, 2003, 05:29 PM
ok no problem alx :)

my worry is exactly the same as SamL, coz it does not encourage me to write article ;)

May 8th, 2003, 09:37 PM
Then you will have to encourage your self because this format will stay for this week as I use more time to type all the stuff here.

Next weeks will be as they always have been though.

May 8th, 2003, 09:43 PM
In the next minutes, I'll be updating all the r1 in singles and doubles. So refresh if your result isnt up yet.

After this tournament, I improve to

and now the toughest challenge...
i am currently 0-5 against Caroline Whitten. it's gonna be tough, very tough.

Lee-Waters' Boy

Well done whitten/selles, looks like rd. 2 will be a good match based on scores :O

May 9th, 2003, 05:18 AM

Anjie vs. Regla could be the match between the two most in-form players on clay so far this year. Anjie has a Tier II and a Tier III but Regla has a Tier I. Hmm...

May 9th, 2003, 07:09 PM
Injury comes back to haunt Kroulikova
''It's the same injury that I've had two months ago in Doha. It's my right quad muscle. I pulled it in the third set against Sorentta. It's dissapointing because I'm playing Madonika, who I've beaten twice this year, and I won't be at 100%. Against a player of that calibre, you need to be ready and healthy. Going in the French Open, it's not a good news...''.

Madonika Wows Berlin

Above: Madonika Diva Jahfson dancing at the Playboy Strip Club in Berlin, Germany.

Madonika Diva Jahfson has taken the FWTT tour by storm. After reaching the finals of Charleston several weeks ago, the mega star has been everywhere. She caused much controversy at the incredibly dull Fed Cup tie between Germany and Africa, beat down Liezel Horn, and continued a feud with Ruflina T, and Monica Gambill!

Jahfson is once again in the winner's circle. Earlier today Jahfson made it to the quarterfinals by routinely defeating Lucia Kurkova. Jahfson defeated #8 seed Dulko in the 1st Round.

"I play well at the big events. I definitely prefer Tier 1's. And at this point I don't give a fuck who you are, what seed you are, or if you look like a troll ala Bryanne Applegate...I'm going to win!"

"These girls aren't benefiting from the fact that I'm not seeded. You have has-beens like Ruflina who was the #3 seed this week and she got her ass kicked by a Wild Card in the 1st Round. It is a disgrace to seed such a useless and talentless player. Her year has amounted to a big pile of shit."

Jahfson is playing doubles with Paula Masterton this week.

"I pity her, she literally begged me to play with her. These past two weeks I've had no steady partner and I've had tons of requests from random players. Paula is at a crucial state in her career right now...she is only now realizing that she is a horrible player...not to mention a very ugly person. I just thought I should re-inforce that thought in her mind, and hopefully urge her to retire and get a makeover."

Jahfson also had choice words for several other players.

"I can't believe Conde-Martinez is still playing...the bitch dies and keeps coming back. Obviously she hasn't felt what Madonika can do, that Spanish slut whore won't be coming back after I pay her a visit."

And Jahfson is also taking aim at #1, Larisa Ferrer.

"I tried to play doubles with her but she thinks she is some hot shit. I have a winning record against the bitch so she can kiss my ass. If I ever do play her again I play on taking her out on and off the court."

Madonika is also gearing up for her first home town appearance in Rome next week.

"I am proud of the fact that I am Italian. I've certainly embraced my Italian heritage in my off court endevors if you know what I mean. I play on flying to Rome immediately after winning Berlin."

Madonika Keeps Winning

The player everyone loves to hate made her way into her second Tier 1 Semifinal of the year. As expected Madonika Diva Jahfson defeated mediocre Anna Kroulikova in 3 sets.

"It looks close but it really wasn't, I was practicing my drop shot in the third set tie-breaker."

"I'm doing well, causing controversy, and I love it...everyone hates me...I'd like to keep it that way! I'm back to being the most famous player on the tour...God I love myself!"

Up next for Jahfson is rival Larisa Ferrer.

"To tell you the truth I don't really want to player. I'd rather just punch kick her in the face."

Jahfson has been the spotlight of the media during the entire week, setting up a "Glitz and Blitz," campaign as she put it leading up to the French Open.

"This week began a huge promotional tour for myself, my ego, and my image. I'm going to be more famous than God!"

:bounce: Kurkova wins first doubles title of her career :bounce:

"This is my firt title this year, and the firt one of doubles of my career. This title gives me back all my faith lost in singles. We played some great tennis this week, i'm really impressed, we beat some of the best pairs Courtiere/Sorrenta, Taliamanosoko/Wong, Graf/Zubir... I'm so happy , i played 3 doubles finals before (Quebec,Gold Coast and Tokio) but never won one. Our work together this year is being great all i can say right now is THANKS LARISSA!"

L.Ferrer/L.Kurkova(3) def. R.Taliamanosoko/J.Wong(2) 3-6 7-5 7-5

May 11th, 2003, 07:23 PM
congrats to all winners !!!!

May 11th, 2003, 09:48 PM

"This is so unexpected to do so well, my first tier 1 victory! I had hoped to face Ferrer in the finals to get my first win over her when on a hot streak, but I guess it's good to win nevertheless. I'm so happy and excited right now. This is the best week of my career so far, and I'm just thrilled to win the title here. It seems that all my preparation has finally paid off, and I can't be happier with my game than I am right now."

May 12th, 2003, 01:25 AM
Ferrer is Madonika's Bitch

#1 Larisa Ferrer once again lost to Madonika Diva Jahfson.
Jahfson was so exhausted after the match, that she had nothing left for the final against Anjelica.

"I have had the most amazing week...I own Larisa, she is my bitch!"

Jahfson will continue her amazing form in Rome next week, where she is the hometown favorite.

"Rome is my favorite Tier 1...I love it...I can't wait to have sex with an Italian!"

May 12th, 2003, 01:33 AM
LOL madonika actually have a relatively nicer thing to say this time round :p

May 13th, 2003, 12:31 AM

May 13th, 2003, 12:39 AM
Wow, Torres/Dulko are 15-9 this year after Berlin.

They were 10-17 for the 6mths they played together last year!

What a turnaround!
