"That's what the people want. Don't you think?"

That was Billie Jean's answer during a recent public appearance at McDonald's in Dover, Delaware in regard to comments recently that she might be a bit overexposed. Her manager, Elton said, "In case you have been under a rock in the past two weeks, Billie has not only single-handedly won a 5-0 Fed Cup victory with the two best players in women's tennis over a very tough Czech Republic team, but she has released 2 albums and several non-album tunes as well. The public want her, they chant her name in her sleep and overall, she is just bigger than life".

King was tight-lipped to reporters about the lawsuit with Burger King, but when it came to eating, Billie was more than happy to oblige her mouth. Burger King alleges that Ms. King was "defamatory" in nature after they pulled the Western Whopper from their food line-up. All King said on the matter today was, "Look, I LOVE Burger King, I love the fries, onion rings, pies, fish sandwiches, even the BK Broiler! I mean, is that even chicken? But I just was very upset and visibly shaken because they suddenly removed the item. I just wrote a song about that very lonely feeling- I would never want my worst enemy or Jennifer Capriati to feel the way that I felt at that moment I walked into the store and the burger was gone". Burger King has filed an injunction to delay the release of her upcoming third album, which King says is her most personal to date. Burger King and Billie were in midst of an endorsement deal to promote her album and their sodium-enriched products. A new line of 'Burger Jean King' burgers were going to be launched this summer, but those plans have been put on hold. To confuse matters more, Burger King sponsored Billie's newest single, "Imagine".

King, who has also been very busy with her Fed Cup team, even answered questions about her controversial decisions over her Fed Cup team. "I had Venus and Serena" King said, "I think I may have had two other players on the team, but who really needs them? I think I did enough ass kissing last weekend to get the sisters to join my team again".

The pre-lunch party for Billie included visits from some of her favorite comfort friends, including Grimace and the Hamburgler, who bore a stunning resemblance to the once-svelte tennis superstar-turned-diva.

King is looking forward to many new exciting things in her life, "You ain't seen nothing yet. As they used to say back in the day, You've come a long way baby. I plan on being around for a long time".

My status? I'm a legend. I invented women's tennis. Was that what you meant? As for my love life...well, no one could ever come close to Jen. Ahh...Jen, sweet baby Jen. I'm pretty much a one-woman woman. Oh, that's apart from Rosie Casals. But wait a minute! Who ever said I was a lesbian? I never did!
