Clarisa better do well here, coz come French Open,

Well she needs some practice before Roland Garros.
I bet she did'nt even step on the court 2 weeks after her wedding.

GO LINDSAY!!!!! you dont have to prove anything anymore, Just play your best tennis and BEAT everyone.

We know that Lindsay is all-court player but she needs to warm-up for adjusting herself to RG.

She won Madrid some years ago in 1998 or 1999 :)

1999 Madrid: (1)Davenport def. (LL)Suarez 6-1 6-1 :)

She is missing Berlin and Rome, which are tier Is, not to mention the fact that she would like as much practice on clay as possible before Roland Garros. I think it's a pretty smart move on her part. Get a good 2 to 3 matches in at Madrid against players with whom she's confortable with before taking on someone who is able to really exploit her clay weaknesses.

Go Lindsay :D

Lindsay may want to notch up some more points so that she can overtake JHH after RG. She needs a Top 4 seed badly at Wimbledon, otherwise a Williams may await her in QF.

Wow, this is a much stronger draw than Strasbourg.

I agree though, good move on Lindsay and Chanda's part. A tier III isnt that bad, if this was a tier IV i'd be saying something different, but I agree with Happy Guy's reasoning of Lindsay's strategy to get top 4 seed at Wimbledon.
