Hello all. I am a new member as of today. I, like many of you, am a huge Jen fan. I record every match when I know she's playing. I had the Australian Open 2002 Final, but my nephew recorded spongebob over it! Well, I'm not here to really talk about Jen. I'm here to maybe start a little trouble.

As you may have known, Serena Williams withdrew from the MasterCard German Open. What's the cause? She if feeling physical exhaustion and needs to rejuvenate herself. She has had a successful year, but if she was feeling so exhausted, couldn't she sit out fed cup for a week? Then she would've had three weeks to rejuvenate herself for the MasterCard German Open. It's alright though. Big sis to the rescue. Venus Williams announced, immediately after, that she will enter the MasterCard German Open and try to win it.

If you were Serena, would you pull out of a tournament that you haven't won before. She would have had a good chance of winning it. I think that Jen is right about what she said last summer. She said that they "fix" tournaments so that when it is time for the grand slams, they wouldn't have to play each other until the final. And how many times has that happened. Think about it. If Venus wouldn't have entered this tournament, then she probably would've went into the French Open as a #3 seed. Which means that she would have to play Serena in the Semis. It leaves me wondering if Jen was right or wrong. I think she is right, though. Let me know what you think. Sorry if I offended anyone.

This has no relevance to Jennifer so I doubt you've offended anyone.

This belongs in the Serena/Venus forum.
