I also voted for "Others"

* Brett Lee (Cricketer)
* Matthew Hayden (Crikecter)

Even though I don't like cricket, but both names are very famous in Australia ;)

I voted for Serena of course. :worship:

And I voted for 'others' for Michael Vick of American Football fame. He plays QB for my home team, the Atlanta Falcons and he is just phenomenal. There are two eras in Atlanta football: pre and post Vick... and not only is he FINE but he has serious game. :worship: :kiss:

Bradbury... is that the guy who won gold in speedskating? The most hilarious speed skating race all time! :D

*can't help but jokingly wonder if he's related to Ray* ;)

As much as I ADORE Queen Serena, I must say that Lance Armstrong is #1 today. His accomplishments are awesome especially in view of his severe illness.

Serena is the QUEEN of tennis.

But Lance is the KING of sports!

lol, I agree this was the funniest race ever, they almost had enough time to get back up and beat him.
Everytime I watch this I crack up, it's a classic.

No man, but I sure did watch it! There was a Canadian who ended up coming third. Watching he and Apollo Ono slide their way desparately to the finish line was absolutely side splitting. Combine that with Bradbury crossing the finish line in complete bewilderment, shrugging, not even sure that this actually happened.. lol. Classic shit, that was.

I read that he had planned on asking Apollo to endorse his skates (since he apparently has a line of speed skates?) after Apollo won the gold, but afterwards he was like "erm, guess that I won't be needing him for that anymore". :D

What I wouldn't do to have a clip of that.

Khorkina got absolutely screwed in the individual all around competition, as did a number of gymnasts... the vault was measured incorrectly, so those who vaulted first suffered. Khorkina started off terribley because of it and never recovered. But she was marvelous in the individual events.
