At Wimbledon, I don't think you have a choice?.... right? I mean, after Chris Evert got divorced and went 'back' to Evert, she was still Chris Lloyd at the AELTC. ?

btw, I'm sure they won't call her Leach if she doesn't want them too.

Davenport is a great name - Leach isn't quite so great.

I understand she's keeping her name..... but I thought at Wimbly it didn't matter. Once married, your husband's name is yours - regardless. At least with the Evert/Loyd situation that's what I remember.

Well, Agassi didn't change his name after his marriage to Steffi. I hope LD doesn't change her either.:)

i cannot claim to have been watching during that time, but are you sure that they were referring to Chrissie as Lloyd after she had reverted back to Evert? Maybe they just called her that after they were separated but not after the divorce became final? And maybe it's a special case, Lloyd is a british man, after all.

Also, if that is true, maybe in the last 15 years something has changed. But I repeat, I'm sure they won't address Lindsay as Mrs Leach if she does not want them to.

We'll find out in July. :)

Likhovtseva is married and never uses her husband's name in tennis. So it depends on whether you've made that choice.

And what about Mrs. Pistolesi? :)

No, she was NOT Lloyd after the divorce. She was Evert again.

These days the woman has a choice of what she will be called. That's one minor concession made by Wimbledon. They don't make many.

After Chris had married Andy Mill, she opted to use "Evert" at Wimbledon, but they called her "Mrs. Evert".

"Lindsay Leach" sounds like someone Clark Kent would date in the old Superman comics.

Serena's white catsuit won't rip like that, because it will be a thong-back. But she'll conceal it with a wraparound skirt. Until she hits her first serve, and the crowd will go *gASSp*

At Wimbledon 2003:

1. "Due to techinical problems with the interview rooms, all post-match press conferences will be conducted in the locker rooms."

2. "As soon as the guards finish escorting the streaker from the court, Ferrero will be able to continue his match." "I hear she's a Canadian woman..."

3. "Game, Miss Rafolumamam... Ruffulot... Ramalama... how the @#*&$ do you say this?..."

It would be ironic if Justine was known as Mrs Hardenne and Lindsay still as Davenport, considering Justine's official name is still just Henin.

Anna: "Uh, well Serena played great. But all in all, two or three points could have changed the outcome. "

Serena: " Anna's serve was huge. Its hard to retrieve the ball when she's serving."
