Will Magui go all the way to the semi's at RG or is she just reprising Angeles's brief clay court sweep of recent years?

omg people calm down, she's only won 2 tier IV titles...

But it would be a great surprise ;)

I would be great if she did, but she better not go down the same road as Angeles, keep up all the hard work and good form Magui

Anyone who can predict Magui's results is a better person than me, thats for sure.

Anyway I want Clarisa to do as well as she did last year, and Magui can join her hopefully ;)

depends what draw she get, I mean if she draw Serena in first round, there is not much of chance, but if some lower seeds fall early in her path, then of course she has a chance coz she is a good clay player. This is really bad to say this but Clarisa was lucky to get a good draw last year (although all credit for her in beating Kim)

Hmm, where is Angeles?

Semi at RG is a big jump from winning two tournaments with very weak fields. Lets not get carried away here. I dont think Clarisa won any clay tournaments before reaching her SF anyway.

Much as I like Magui, she's simply not good enough. Quarter finalist is her max; unless she has an early loss from a top five player in her quarter.

she didn´t beat a top30 player the last 2 weeks, so keep cool!!!

First of all Magui Serna is no Angeles or Clarissa. She is her own self. Unlike the other two players, she has been a consistent performer on court year end and year out.

The season is early, but hopefully Serna can continue to ride the wave and keep doing well the rest of the way through Roland Garros.
