Much like the Davenport/Weingartner match, I thought this would have been closer. Seles must be back at 100%, to beat Dechy that well.

Spirit Apr 17th, 2003, 10:27 PM The only thing I can think of to prevent ESPN showing this match is if they go with JCap because she has better name recognition. But we all know ESPN would never do that... The only thing that worries me is the factor of rest. Not only did Justine have a day off, but the last five games of today's Monica match all went to deuce, several more than once. I kept wanting Monica to finish it off quickly, but really, Nathalie didn't go quietly. Hopefully, though, a match that took just over an hour won't be too draining. I trust Monica to know what to do.
