I just cancelled my directv installation and told them why. They won't be getting the tennis channel and my local time warner will be getting it. Hopefully in the long run I helped future DirecTV subscribers. We really need to request this channel everywhere to show there is an audience.

I almost did that last night! I hate Time Warner though, that's who I switched over from.

call your provider and ask how.. anyway, i think that the tennis channel is for real this time. they even printed the article in my local newspaper. i'm not sure if it will be part of my cable provider for good or if i will be able to get it, but i'm a little excited that this COULD happen. i think we all spend too much time watching scoreboards and miss way too much awesome tennis. plus, now wel may all get to see our favs A LOT more. tournaments will be scheduled for a large chunk of the day, and ALL the marquee matches will be shown for each day. that is way better than seeing one match a day if we are lucky.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW MUCH AN EXTRA CHANNEL NORMALLY COSTS? im just wondering because i may have to pay, and if its rilly high, ill say "screw it"

No. PamTV would be me with several different format shows like chat shows, shopping programme, career highlights, Pam'sWiseWords of Wisdom etc. Cool eh?
