I was nuked when Supergirl withdrew... just really nuked!
I'm sure that when word got around that Serena wasn't going to be contending, there was The BIGGEST, collective Sigh of relief from all over the ladies locker room.:)
Serena remains THE player, most of the players dread playing.
Serena was talking confidently about her chances here. She was saying something about "revenge",:p and I usually get in line behind her when she's in that mood, cause I know there's gonna be some Serena Williams styled beatings handed out. :)
Hingis wasn't going to make NO semis this year, had Serena not sprang her ankle. That truth was just, "in the air", I could smell it!:)
