I REALLY hope the war doesn't start. I believe that the war will not start (or that Saddam Hussein will die in two days) but that's not the point. Do you think the tournament will continue despite the fact that Irak is being attacked?
Maybe to show some sort of respect, but I don't think that the organisers would withdraw the tournament at this instances. Besides there are some leagues in the USA that will continue their normal schedule. But my personal question is Do you think it should?

No tennis tournaments, I repeat NONE, will have their schedule affected by the impending war. Except maybe the Baghdad Open, debuting in 2008.

The war has already practically started--it's only hours away...The tournament WILL go on regardless...It is, after all, going on across the Atlantic and is only expected to last 2-3 weeks...

Tournaments went on after we were attacked by the terrorists...

I think it should go on! Yes, it's a horrible thing that war is going on, but life must go on for the rest of the world...
