What's is your problem? I am just asking a simple question why do you have to be an ass about it. If you don't know just say I do not know.

What is the correct spelling -- Is it Hackelford or Shackelford I really do not know. Could you give me the correct spelling?

It's amazing that people around here act like one should always use correct grammar on a message board. Get over it people, it's just a messageboard.

Harloo, to be honest with you I think one should always use correct grammar weather you are on a message board or not. Hey, I don't mind being corrected that's how you learn.

In that case, you used the wrong word. Weather should be "whether" in the sentence before your run-on sentence.

Keith, that was intentional I wanted to see if anyone would catch that error. Good job :)

Ashley announced that she didn't want to be a Kournikova-style hoe, and then the sponsors lost interest.

Harloo - what leslie is being mocked out for is a SPELLING error, not a grammar error, lol.

And yeah, when you have a history of screwing up players names and still manage to come up with things like "Hackelford" (what is she, a laughing automobile?), then you are asking to be made fun of.

Also, in case you hadn't noted, leslie actually took it quite well.

Ashley will be quite lucky if she is able to achieve a fraction of what Kournikova has :)

Hmmmm. I was under the impression that it was spelt "ho". Anyway, I guess it is one of those charming American slang expressions that we are all supposed to find so cool  - meaning "whore", right?

So in what respect is Anna Kournikova a whore? She's done all sorts of things that make me doubt her good sense. In fact, she strikes me as a number one flake right now. But just how, exactly, does she come to be a *whore* in the eyes of people who make such an accusation? I'm getting a bit sick of this.

Yes but english is not the first language for some, I think we shouldn't expect everyone to speak and write perfect english.

I just read an article on Ashley and she said she was flattered that people thought she was like Anna in the looks department. She never insulted her, she did tell reporters that she wasmore concerned about her tennis and not her looks.

selesfan, spelling people's names has nothing to do with the English language.
