at hilton head 1990 at 14 years old jebeat ASV, the reigning French Op-en champ 6-1 6-1 on clay :eek: :eek: !!!!! would love to see that match :drool: :drool:

That match was a stunner. Jen was the best 14 year old that EVER played the game. Hands down, and I am not just saying that cause I am a big Jen CAP fan...she just was!!

i totally agree Mark36 although both Monica Seles and Martina Hingis where great at 14 too! remember that Jen was not #1 till 11 yrs after she first apeared on the pro tour ...sooo i guess she would be called a "late bloomer" but hey better late than never i always say! Trish Stratus
