don't get me wrong, i really like her! but is she becoming the next conchita? i mean this outfit she wears have last since the french open, maybe before that !

is this the best that le coq sportif could give her? how much money did they give her ? i hope she will change endorsement by the time this one expires. she deserves better than that ! :

Ditto!!!! isnt annoying see players wear the same clothes? with all their endorsments they should be changing their outfits ATLEAST everymonth i think. if nothing else to look better and more appealing to us fans....well me anyways.

Well I am the fashion critic. And needless to say, Justine's outfit may not just be worn day in and day out, but its ugly, too!

Interesting fact: Alexandra wears the same outfit after each match she wins. She changes outfits (style and all) after she loses each one.

I agree! I think she needs to mix it up a bit. I enjoy seeing the different outfits the others wear at each tournament. But, maybe it's comfortable for her, and she doesn't want to change, I don't know.

Ugly? Are you serious? She looks damn cute in it.

I think her outfit, due the results of being so old , is getting hard, so it's difficult to take em' off... That's the reason I guess she didn't change her outfit yet........

Or maybe she forgot she is using the same outfit since Roland Garros.... Maybe is too comfortable

Yeah, it kind of gets boring. I like the Nike mens collection, all colorful and bright, Hewitt, Blake, they always have something different on!

if she feels good in it, she should wear it... it's that easy.

so we're saying tennisplayers should change clothing because we want so even if they feel confortable in it? okay, i can live with that

I don't really care what they wear, as long as the tennis is good! And if she feels comfortable in it then she should wear it.

Justine never really felt comfortable with clothing-sponsors. Just think about the number of different sponsors she had : Lotto ; Adidas ; Sergio Tacchini ( which runned till december, 31st 2000 ); and now Le coq sportif .......remenber she's only 19!

IN the beginning of 2001, she didn't even have a sponsor!!!! When she won GOld COast and Canberra tournaments in a row, Nike and Adidas wanted to sign her. She declined!
WHy ? ..she says she doesn't like worlwide companies. Sha also dropped IMG - the most influent players-agency, to sign with an unknown belgian agency.

BUT I HAVE GOOD NEWS : The current contract that links JUstine to Le Coq Sportif is running 'till....december 31st 2001!

now let's hope she will join NIke, adidas, fila or whatever...but not Le Coq Sportif once again!!!

It's true what you said Luke, it seems she doesn't want to have anything to do with these big companies. I'm sure she has her reasons. She said she felt like she was just a product when she was with IMG.

Her results are a lot more important than the outfit she wears. I don't think it's ugly, but I would also like to see more diversity. But if she feels good in it and still feels like wearing it, then she should. It's all up to her.

If she would change I wish she would wear Adidas. btw, I think Le Coq Sportive is still better than Fila, their tennis clothes are just really ugly. But that's my opionion.

if she likes it, that's fine

but maybe she should experiment with different colours and patterns if she intends to continue wearing what she's been wearing

I'm not too annoyed by her outfit. It's not the best thing out there but it's definitely not the worst. Just sorta boring to see the same thing tournament to tournament but her game more than makes up for it.

Her clothes are the least interesting thing about her. I think that says a lot.

i think juan carlos ferero also needs to change his clothes. the SAME tachinni over and over and over. hes my favorite player on the men's side, my idol, and the man i emulate when i play and everything, but PALEASE!!!!

it doesnt matter if shes comfortable, she needs to change it!

clothes reflect the person that wears them. shes dumb, she wears dumb clothes?

ok anyways, its unanimous it hink, or atleast in a majority it needs to be changed.

SO BE IT!

Wearing the same outfit, wearing the boring cap, her lack of any hairstyle or make-up, it all says to me:

I am about TENNIS. I am not here for a show. I am all-business and I can't be bothered with these outside distractions -- they are nothing but a nuisance. I'd rather make less money and wear dull clothes than have to model new outfits in silly press conferences! This way, my time is my own, and I choose to concentrate in that time on TENNIS ALONE.

Or maybe I'm reading too much into it, ya think?

what's the use of having sponsors if they're not creative enough to come up with new outfits???? Guga is another victim.

Why Nike & Adidas are on top of their rivals???? they have the most creative staff IMO.

Interesting thread. Now she's with Adidas, but her outfits aren't much better. Sure, Olympics 04 and Wimbledon 05 were great. But the winning outfit of this year is just horrible. I hope she makes the white one with red stripes a winning one, I kinda liked it, even though they're probably have the same design as all other Adidas clothes ever made.

She does not really care about that too much but I admit that the clothes that Adidas makes them wear are just not nice. I don't like them at all especially for the women. They should get some ideas from Nike or something.
