Hi there,

I was wondering whether Alexandra has retired or not as yet.
Does anyone know

Hiya Tweeter!

The latest news (probably reliable) is that Alexandra plans to play a few tournaments before Roland Garros, then maybe retire after that Grand Slam, where she was Girls Champ over 10 years ago.

Alexandra has passed her French Coach's Test and will coach French Junior girls. Also, there may be a croissant in the oven sometime soon! (Female, I hope!)

By the way: I like France and Germany a lot these days, as do most Americans, I think.

Thanks Gary!

I suppose she'll be playing with Nathalie.
Anyone around here who wants to go with me there? ;)

Tweety: Tauziat or Dechy?

My hunch is that Alexandra will try to make a run in Singles Qualifying - and will do so!

In Doubles, maybe Dechy, probably not Tauziat, but I certainly have no problem with Fusai/Tauziat! (Or Fusai/Dechy!)

Alexandra is so very great at doubles that she could pair with anyone.

Fusai/Sidot? Fusai/Loit? Fusai/Seles? Fusai/Navratilova??? (No...)

Hopefully, we'll see....

Nathalie Dechy would be a great choice too ;) But she is playing with Emelie. I meant Nathalie Tauziat :)

Alexandra gave birth, and life, to a son, Oscar, on December 7th of 2003. (Her husband, David, probably helped in this creation.)

Alexandra/Oscar will win Roland Garros Mixed in 2024!
