I mean this draw is very different from comittment list. I am so disapointed every year when I see the draw of Toray. Most of players don't want to have a long travel like this after Australian Open. Japan is so far from everywhere...

Hey, I'm just guessing :p
Obata got a WC for sure, and looking at the Q draw looks like Asagoe got another one, so 1 left   not too sure now as they keep 1 spot for a last-minute big name

Arigato gozaimasu for posting this draw! Honto ni...:wavey:
Really? Angie may get WC? I thought it would be too many...Where is Aoyama? She got WC for qualifying...
I hope Wynne can do well here...She needs to climb up to top 100s again! Tough match against Sarah...hope, she is fit after tough matches until QF downunder and extremely long flight from Melbourne...Yuk!
My realistic prediction those who will go to MD: Likhovtseva, Bedanova (unless, Wynne and Morigami play superbly...), Callens & definitely hungry lady lion, Cho!:fiery:
But interesting to watch is the final qualif btw Grande vs Cho! Gonna be great!:bounce:
Hopefully Aiko doesn't get double bageled again. ;) :o
Mi-Ra's playing :bounce:
What's happened to Kaori Aoyama?
Please, not another injury...

Shinobu didn't get a WC, as Mary Pierce got the last one.
I really hope she's not injured...

Granville
Nakamura
Very doable for Els, only one who might spoil the fun would be youngster Granville :(
the commitment list is done weeks ago and most players just don't wanna play in qualies and withdraw from qualies the week before if they can't get in)
the week before the tournament sees more withdrawals than any other.
good luck Lina :)
Elena :)

This tournament is being held in their own backyard...It is just like any other tournament where you are the host, then you will have many local players...But not in the case of Indonesia so far...We have few good players to be honest!:wavey:
Maybe, non-Asian players are regarding this tourney as too close after AO...or too much climate change from hot OZ to chilly Japan...I do no know! It is just not good for such tier I...:(
Good luck to:
Wynne Prakusya...I hope, you are fit after several long and tough matches in mixed doubles downunder and you must have tight time to get ready...Play tough against tall Sarah today!:fiery:
Cho...lady lion from Korea...keep roaring!:fiery:
Mi-Ra...hope, you are in best form!
Janet...tough but still possible!
Akiko...home advantage!:bounce:
Elena...keep going!:wavey:
Laura...keep up your consistency!:)

This being said :
1) all the best to ALL players (even Canadian ;) )
2) it is excellent to see this tennis development in Asia. It can only be beneficial to tennis in general :) .
