Cool coverage :D

Ch 7 always gets a bit over excited ;) with all the matches on they pretty much jump all over the place, so it can be a bit frustrating sometimes, but aside from that, I think there coverage is great

We have the Channel 7 Australia live "world"
feed with Fred Stolle, and company doing the
honours. Fred's really good; he actually can
comment on a female top 16'er with out sounding
patronizing, condescending nor dumb. He's one
of the few that actually know the strenght's and
weakness's in the current field of the women's game. :)

espn sucks. they chop up tennis matches and serve them with bad commentators raw.

WISH I were in Singapore, because ESPN's coverage in the US sucks. Only Agassi's match was shown here. Unfortunately, ESPN usually airs the men's matches 80-90% of the time LIVE. The women's matches are usually taped and not shown in its entirety. ESPN, in the US, is the WORST!!!

Well...I know where your coming from. I'm an American-
and i use to shed tears back in the states watching
ESPN, USA network, TBS, and NBC's tennis coverage.
Hated the tv promo's for shows, local station ads,
national broadcast ads... etc..

We used to get Star Sports coverage for the Aussie Open...
But this year there is none... :(
We have a local channel showing the Aussie Open instead...
Which really sucks... we used to get it LIVE...
Right now... they are still showing the Agassi match..
I don't know why... maybe it got to do with money!!! :( :)

Ours was poopants.. First match that Eurosport showed was... Paradorn Srichiphan's. Now I don't have anything against the guy, but I would rather have watched the Henin match. At least with Sky we had an interactive service where we could choose which match to watch..

i hate that old dude who's comentating for ESPN. whatever his name is, he shouldjust crokeal ready and let Mary Carillo and Pat Macenroe actually talk and make things a little interesting. it's like just his presence makes it sooooooooooooboring, even though u pretty much never see them:)

Yep yep! And the other really good thing is that there wasn't any commentary during the match.

Like YSL, I also like watching it without the commentary, just with the sound of the players, umpire and crowd. I can't believe that Eurosport spent ages this morning doing delayed coverage of Prinosil V Costa, when they have a highlights session in the afternoon, anyway. There was still lots of live tennis going on.
Still, at least I got to see the Weingartner V Capriati match, and Venus V Kuznetsova, so I can't complain too much. Much prefer Sky and BBC's multi-match coverage though. That Thai TV coverage sounded a better selection of matches overall than Eurosport's.

Yes it is! We are so pleased about matches we have seen. Lots of WTA matches instead of boring ATP matches (Costa for example.) And it's so cheap. I paid only 35 Euro a month, the package is including HBO, Star Sport, ESPN, CNN, BBC, TV5, MTV, VH1 etc.

The-Net, Is that via Satellite or cable? Quite an unusual mix of channels. I get CNN, BBC (obviously, being in GB), TV5, MTV and VH1 but it's impossible to get HBO and ESPN here. Are UBC and Starsport Thai channels, or are they imported?
