Venus "stays alive"!!

She was pushed today... the match could have gone eihter way if she handt been able to find her range early in the first set.
anyway, I just wanted to send my tribute to Marice Girr, a Bee GEES memeber, who died yesterday.

6-4 6-2 isn't exactly 'pushed'. Venus didn't play particualrly well though. 14 winners, 23 UEs. But for Venus in the 1st round of a GS, this was okay.
