who's gonna win? this should be obvious, but given injuries and doubles matches, things could get interesting.
(2)Kim Clijsters - she dropped 4 games in her opening match and 3 in her destruction of seventh seeded Chanda Rubin. she's clearly playing the best out of everybody right now, but her doubles matches will leave her completely worn out. along with singles, she played 2 doubles matches yesterday, both of which went 3 sets (one was even 3 full tiebreaks).
(3)Justine Henin-Hardenne - given her tendencies against her countrywoman, it's hard to say which justine is going to show up. the last time they played, indoors, henin got destroyed. but now, it's on hardcourt and clijsters is almost certain to be tired.
(6)Lindsay Davenport - she never really came back from her injury i guess. she looks fitter, she plays well, but she crumbles under the pressure. in her last 5 finals, she's 0-5, though one was a w/o. two of those were indoors - surprising for the supposed "queen of indoors." the win over hantuchova is sure to leave her tired, but it could be the one match she's been waiting for to pump her up.
Tatiana Panova - the surprise semifinalist, her claim to fame is taking out top seeded and third ranked Jennifer Capriati. she destroyed olga in her QF match, but will that be enough to take on davenport?
